INTRODUCTION The design and management experience I have gained is reflected graphically in this portfolio. A set of projects have allowed me to encounter challenges in which the concept, a deep analysis, and numerous prototypes have been key to the development and conclusion of every design exercise. The body of work I present starts with industrial design exploration, achieved by digital fabrication. In which prototypes were a main part of the process. In the architecture selection, the program was always the core of the project, this led to formal and functional explorations in a variety of scales, from a studio house up until a mixed-use building. The branding and interior design project I show reflects the de exploration of a freelance practice between research, concept proposal and branding. On a professional approach, I show the upscale architecture residence projects I am in charge of managing, with the involvement of top designers the coordination is reflected in the end results. In the end of this portfolio, I give examples of the experience I´ve gained in the event production field, where a lot of service design concepts were used.

WAVE BENCH
This piece was created in order to explore the prototype possibilities CNC router has.I started from a simple wave drawing that would evolve to a bench that could be used in a public space. A bench for sitting three people, with a simple and comfortable design. The prototype process help by taking further notice of the volume and form. The tessellation of wood pieces united by a transversal spine gave the illusion of a final product. In the end, the "advertisement" of the product helped make the concept more clear and easy to understand.

ZEBRA STOOL
The process Zebra stool is a project challenge to use digital in order to create an incorporate several pieces
that gave us the design fabrication object that could of mixed materials.
The design process for this piece was very important to get to the end result. A series of complications came along before getting to the final product. The union of the pieces became a struggle and that’s why, in the end, I had to incorporate a material like the cork. The benefits of this material are its elasticity and simple cutting by a laser machine. Not to mention this is an eco-friendly material. In order to place all the pieces together, I used very long screws that to my surprise also had an elastic property, this served as the main structure of the stool, and with the help of nuts the configuration of the stool was complete. The final product came to its name because of the kook the burned sides of the cork gave when they were put together. This is an example of how the prototype and the iteration of a first design can lead to an interesting result.

PEZ PAVILION Exploration of a stair This project started with the premise of creating an object that would implicate having limits. The relation the human body has with movement has a direct relation with equilibrium and spatial boundaries. Having as a premise that there is not only one way of moving through time and space
/ 10 /
I came to the exercise of creating different variables for human characteristics to come across obstacles. This became a pavilion that affected the human body by creating different feelings depending on the combination of heights and lengths, this as a possible art installation.

ATL HOUSE his project was about creating the house for a Mexican artist. Gerardo Murillo alias, Dr. ATL was the one I chose, a painter that excelled at illustrating volcano landscapes. His work showed great passion and dramaticism, that´s why the house studio must be a reflection of that, the materials chosen are red brick and black steel, vaults that allude the curves of volcanos and a surrounding patio that let´s light enter at different times during the day.

VITA SUITES ELDER LIVING Vita Suites is a mixed-use building that aims for the integral living of the elder population. This project has the quality of mixing private amenities with a public center into one building. The development of elder living is a very important topic to discuss, especially since an increasing population in Mexico city is going to need this kind of facilities for the year 2030, million and a half. The research has shown the importance of keeping a busy and active life in order to be emotional and physically healthy, that's why this programme has a gym, school for the elders, and common spaces for people to have a relationship with one and other.

the suites system is designed for single persons or couples, where they can perform all their activities in a cared environment. The challenge of the project was to create user-friendly spaces that integrated safety and interesting designs. The areas that were designed into a bigger detail are public circulations, lobby, exteriors, bathrooms, kitchens bot public and private. This had the mission of working on the development of an initial concept into a great level of detail. Tthis became relevant as an important exercise to conclude the architecture bachelor. The different perspectives every student had on their own project helped us learn and get to better results.

CUMBRES HOUSE Description Cumbres house is project located in a residential development in Santa Fe, Mexico City. This is a big scale residential project designed for a client with specific tastes and hobbies. This without a doubt changed the programme aside from a regular residence. This is a 2500 m2 house, with four bedrooms, ten bathrooms, library, dining area, family room, formal living rooms, parking up for eighteen cars etc. As Junior project manager this house was a great challenge. The architecture project was made by Roldan Arquitectos, while the Interiors were in charge of MarqCo design. I was able to see this project from its foundations and became close to every part of the design. Getting the right insight into what the client constantly needed was a big part of my job. The relationship between the designers in charge of landscape, lighting, interiors, and the contractors became my everyday job. Plans and information of every type of an object the house had affected the final design. A huge amount of information was needed for the design of every last detail. This house, still under construction helped me learn about things I wasn´t familiar with. Constructive technics, house automatization, electric and water installations, elevators, prefabricated and imported furniture orders, etc, were some of the things I learned much more about.

SAUCES PENT-HOUSE ABOUT
INVOLVEMENT
Located in Mexico city, Bosques de Santa Fe is a wellknown neighborhood with nice views, a golf Country club, a lot of security and is mostly owned by wealthy residents.
My participation as project manager consists in the coordination of the architectonic design proposal and interiors project.
This 750 m2 Penthouse came to the studio as a plain two stories apartment. No walls, installations or ceilings had been made. The project was designed for a new couple with a baby on the way, it consists of five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, four living areas, dining room, and kitchen. It is particular in the sense of having a big private garden as well, perfect for the pets and kids to play.
Take the executive project into its correct implementation and coordinate contractors and designers for the best resolution of problems on site.
The interior design team in charge of this project is called MarqCo, and had the particular challenge to bring light into the project, light materials and warm fabrics were part of the proposal.

An important part of my job is also to maintain a good relationship with the clients, listen and put attention to all of their needs. Budget coordination between the client, designers and contractors is also important. I would say problem-solving and designing architectonic technical details that were not originally defined is a great part of my day to day in the office.

PASAJE MARÍA
Name and Graphic Design Concept
Pasaje María is an Interiors and Branding project developed by my freelance company called Icónica de Dseño.
This Logo needed to reflect the essence of the building, a close community that could easily live in harmony. "Pasaje" means a type of neighborhood where all the apartments face a central patio. The typography reflects a feminine yet familiar handwriting, ideal for the initial concept.
This project looks to develop a concept for a new housing development in a Mexico City neighborhood called Santa María la Ribera, a place with a lot of cultural tradition. The model the studio proposes for the interiors is to create a showroom able to promote young industrial designers into the community. In the selling period, we would organize "experiences" in public and private areas of the building in order to make easier furniture and apartment sales. The concept that this building has is to be a place where the community is involved in the sustainable caring of the building. With green-oriented insights, this development wishes to set an example for the neighborhood.

interiors Concept The interiors of the apartment reveal the user lifestyle. Hip and interesting Mexican crafted furniture were picked for this apartment. The promotion of industrial designers that have an appreciation for craftsmanship and also innovation were very important to make the selection. The promotion of industrial designers that have an appreciation for craftsmanship and also innovation were very important to make the selection. Neutral colors were essential in order not to overload the small space of each flat.
