Honey BBQ Glazed Meatballs
Ingredients for Sauce 2 Qt Cattleman's BBQ Sauce (or sauce of choice) 1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar 1 Cup Molasses 1 Qt Raw Honey 2 Tbsp Liquid Smoke 1 1/2 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1.5 lbs. Ground chuck 1 Egg lightly beaten 1 Cup Instant Oats 6.5oz Evaporated Milk 1 Tsp. Salt 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder 1/2 Cup Diced Red Onion Honey BBQ Sauce as preferred
Ingredients for Meatballs
Directions for Sauce 1.Combine all ingredients except sauce in a large mixing bowl. 2.In a saucepot, bring to a low simmer, stirring occasionally, until desired doneness is reached.
Directions for Meatballs 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2.In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients (except sauce) thoroughly. 3.Form mixture into 1 & 1/2 inch balls and place in rows on a greased sheet pan. 4.Pour Honey BBQ Sauce evenly over meatballs. 5.Bake for 35-45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. 6.Carefully place in a serving bowl or tray, and pour over remaining sauce - don't forget toothpicks!
