The potential of frost delay is still a possibility and not uncommon through February We are communicating with the Golf Shop so they have the most up-to-date information on the delay

If we can all do our part to continue to minimize the cart traffic in the rough this winter we will see improved playability and not bare or thin areas caused by compacted soil and excessive wear With the courses in a dormant state, please do your part in making sure we are driving in the short grass as much as possible Limiting the traffic in the rough will enhance playability in the spring and summer

A Chipco Choice insecticide targeting moles and crickets is scheduled for the beginning of February The courses will be closed temporarily during the application process on consecutive days During these course closures, we will also be applying granular pre-emergent herbicide to all areas, the shortgrass and rough We will provide more information for you through the Golf Shop as these dates approach
