John & Jenne DeLateur

John is originally from Seattle Washington, where he entered his service into the Marine Corps In John’s 31 years of service to this nation, he served multiple tours overseas and relocated over 9 times throughout his career. He was raised in a military family whose father also served over 30 years. After many moves, and raising three wonderful daughters, he has chosen to retire to Florida and chose Black Diamond because of its welcoming community and the world class golf courses that it has to offer He is an avid golfer and wants to get back to fishing during his retirement years John and Jenne are looking forward to meeting fellow members and hitting the links as he transitions full-time to the Black Diamond community He is also interested in connecting with fellow veteran groups around the area for meaningful camaraderie.

We are super excited for Chef Javier’s new menu His signature dish is shrimp and grits: Southern style jumbo shrimp in a tomato Lardon sauce with bell peppers, celery, onions over stone ground creamy grits If you haven’t come in to check it out, now is the time! We have some exciting things in the works for this upcoming year We are looking forward to starting back up wine dinners, comedy shows, and a whole lot more We look forward to seeing you at the club!
