KMGA SHOOTOUT 2

On Saturday, May 6, KMGA held Shootout 2 on the Woods Course. We were able to put away our turtlenecks, wind shirts, and rain pants for shorts, golf shirts, and sunscreen. It was a beautiful 72degree day. The course was in magnificent shape with the greens rolling at a quick 12 on the Stimpmeter.

Shootout 2 is comprised of two-man teams that play Four Ball Stroke Play (better net of two). With National Police Week on May 8 – 12, the five flights were named in honor of Law Enforcement Officers that have given the ultimate sacrifice to their communities. The flights of Patrolman, Officer, Detective, K9, and SWAT were broken down by handicap. With valuable Shootout Final and East/West points on the line, the 30 teams vaulted into battle.
