Klga 9

The KLGA 9 wrapped up the first half of the season in July, which began with the Annual Flag Day competition with Janet Parker in First Place, Debby Quinn in Second, and Carol Ball in Third. The following week was the game of 4 Clubs and a Putter, and the First-Place winner was Rhonda Gianturco, and in Second was Martha Stathis. Mid-month the KLGA 18 joined the KLGA 9 with the team of Jean Infantino and Patty Martin in First Place, the team of Sue Goodale and Mendy Pilcher in Second, and for the 2-player KLGA 9 Flight, the First-Place team was Debby Quinn and Carol Ball. A big shout out to Edie Meyers on her Birdie on Woods Hole #3 on Flag Day.

Member-Member 2 finished the month and luau was the theme of the day, with all the players greeted with an “Aloha!” and a lei. Eleven teams competed with an Alternate Shot format and the scores were close. After we played, we had a business meeting and the first half-season awards with a luau buffet at Moody’s. After the meal, the winners were announced:

Flight 1 Low Gross Winners were Sue Goodale and Amy Larson and Low Net Winners were Patee Ramsey and Sharon Marcial; Flight 2 Low Gross Winners were Susan Howard and Martha Stathis and Low Net Winners were Maureen Moore and Debby Quinn; and Flight 3 Low Gross Winners were Molly Strup and June Wendell and Low Net Winners were Colleen Tondorf and Susan Keister. Congratulations to all our winners!
