With the aim to portray the importance of “Less is more�, the designs focus on balance, utility, minimalism and the idea of utilization. This is achieved using elements such as layering, functionality, opacity levels and strong silhouettes that give the designs structure and strength, without losing the simplicity. Emphasis on gender neutrality with elements that blend in with each other, breaking the duality of the same.
THE STYLE
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Simplicity is a product of intelligence and observations. It is focus and balance. This is what I believe in and aim to produce as well, through what I create. By addressing global issues, I wish to transform art into function and turn inhibitions to opportunities through self written works, self captured pictures and music that inspires me. It empowers the idea that we can be seen without being in the spotlight, can be heard without having to shout. With the combination of these forms of art, I aim to achieve an outcome that speaks for most of us, more than what we readily hear in order to unify expression and social causes. A product that is equivocal, strong and bold.

plan which is achieved through a detailed design process. Martian was completed in May 2019, and is a Women’s-wear design collection focused on the trend forecasts for Spring Summer ‘20/21. Charli Cohen develops garments that are technical, multiutility and speak for a cause. The design focusses on such values, combined with the silhouettes of the coming times. It takes into consideration the ease of wearing garments and at the same time look chic, bold and up with the trends. The colors are meant to give out radiance, power and show the shades of a land unknown still.

The space age is upon us. With the increasing threats of the Earth being inhabitable, advancements are being made so as to find a new terrain for humans to thrive on. A new home. Within a few years, humans will inhabit the planet Mars. Inspired from this, the collection features

shades of Mars, silhouettes that are bio-based, anti-pollution, minimalistic and utilitarian. The fabrics are shear so as to incorporate lightness and functionality. Knits with body mapping, allowing complete flexibility, breathability and muscle support will serve the client with an amalgamation of Hi-Fashion, on the go.

A Training wear collection based on the theme KINETIC NERVE, for the brand, “ADIDAS”. The project was aimed at developing a collectipn which is achieved through a detailed design process. Kinetic nerve was completed in May 2020, and is a Men’s-wear design focused on the trend forecasts for Spring-Summer 21/22’. Being a training collecton, it ensures the functionality of the same.
DESIGN BRIEF
Adidasdevelops garments that are technical, multi-utility and look good. The design focusses on such values, highlighting the the AMAZON FIRES that broke out earlier in 2020. It is a way to translate the energy of the fire in us into our training sessions, in our lives. The garments can be worn during football training and during casual matches. 14
KINETIC NERVE is a translation of energy into everything we do. Inspired from the Amazon fires, it pays respect to all the people on the line, showing their vigor, bravery and strength. How they step in were we woiuld not and make it safer for us. At the same time, it is a reminder of how nature can take a turn on us, if we are not careful. The colours & prints
CONCEPT
are inspired from the shades of ash that is left after a fire estinguishes, similar to that of a lava The aim is to develop a collection for football training, something to work during workouts and while training on the field. It is highly functional, has the best fabric construction and a minimal look. This collection is designed keeping in mind the team, Manchester United.

Humanoid was completed in November 2020, and is a Women’s-wear design collection focused on the trend forecasts for Autumn Winter ‘20/21. The design focusses on comfort, utility and aesthetics, combined with the silhouettes of the coming times. It takes into consideration the ease of wearing garments and at the same time look chic, bold and up with the trends.

The virtual world for us is becoming more and more real. We are embracing this reality and digging deeper into it. The consumers of today are inclined towards what looks the best, digitally. HUMANOID is a Ski - Wear collection for women, that will highlight the influence of digitization in our lives. It amalgamates the story of tomorrow with the truth of today.

Charli Cohen develops garments that are technical, multi-utility and speak for a cause. The

design focusses on such values, highlighting the viscous circle of overthinking that can lead to many common mental health issues. It is a way to convey the fact that one can come out of it and be as bold as they want to be, without having to stay in their own minds. The garments can be worn in and out of gym, as a streetwear coordinate or as a part of casual dressing.

With the continuous evolution and advancements, while we become more and more equipped with things to do and accomplish, many of us are also losing a sense of who we are. We are becoming more and more prone to mental health issues. Inspired from this, the garments feature an insight into the deadly cycle of overthinking and identity crisis. It throws light on how we contemplate to an extent that we are unable to let go. We become unable to express and understand our own minds, starting the cycle yet again. The fabrics include mesh that represents tiny opportunities we look for, in order to express ourselves. The color palette responds to the theme by highlighting the characteristics of being bold yet reserved, having too much to say but no idea how to. 39

Revelation is a translation for the Greek word "Apocalypse". The concept is derived keeping in mind the current pandemic, and how the world will adapt to changes in work environment, leisure activities and fashion. In this phase closer to the end of it all, minimal clothing with comfort will become a staple. The ensemble is to serve the purpose of comfort street wear, adhering to the profile of the client.
