Stone Fence™ decorative gabion walling
CLD’s Stone Fence™ gabion walling helps designers and specifiers to create a natural screen using decorative stone or recycled material infills.
Composition and manufacture
Stone Fence™ is comprised of double-wire mesh panels which create a container for natural infill materials including pebbles, stones and recycled broken brick. The infill provides a natural shelter for insects and wildlife, and can be planted to reduce environmental impact on projects. This makes Stone Fence™ a popular choice for playgrounds, parks and housing developments.
Dimensions
Heights of 650 to 2405mm can be achieved at 200mm intervals. CLD recommends a minimum diameter of 75mm for the infill material. Heights over 1450mm require root-fixing with a strip foundation (non-load-bearing). Heights of 1450mm and below require a 400x200mm strip footing (non-load-bearing).
Finish and appearance
Hot-dip galvanising is the recommended finishing. However, elements can also be polyester powder coated in a wide range of RAL colours.

ColourFence metal panel fencing
ColourFence high-strength metal panel fencing is used to provide an attractive, colourful and secure boundary for schools, camp sites, holiday homes and residential properties. ColourFence comes with a 25-year materials guarantee, is secure, fire and wind-resistant, withstanding gusts of up to 130mph.
Composition and manufacture
ColourFence is manufactured in the company’s UK factory from high tensile steel. Post and rail components are made from 0.8mmthick ZINC HI TEN® G550, a hot-dipped zinccoated, structural steel with a spangled surface. Infill panel components are produced from 0.35mm-thick ZINCALUME® G550S, skin-passed to improve surface quality. Both elements have a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 550MPa. Both are ‘self-healing’ – the zinc in the surrounding coating protects any scratches or cut edges. In the presence of moisture, a reaction occurs between the zinc and steel which results in galvanic protection of the exposed steel, thereby inhibiting corrosion.
Dimensions
Height: 1.0, 1.5, 1.8, 2.0 or 2.1m. Matching single and double gates up to 2.1m-high.
Finish and appearance
ColourFence solid fencing has a flat top and is finished in four colours: brown, green, blue and cream. A decorative lattice top and ball caps are optional. Components can be mixed and matched to suit requirements.
Materials guarantee
ColourFence materials come with a 25-year materials guarantee which is warrantied against warping, fading, cracking and peeling.

Installation
ColourFence elements are lightweight and easy to install. The interlocking infill, post and rail system makes a strong overall framework which will not move when correctly installed.
Maintenance
