plan of the residential area Strelna City 30 hectares

The residential area is located in Strelna City in a law-rise and mid-rise sector. The main idea of the project is to build picturesquely located rectangular groups of houses, composed of townhouses, multi-section houses. Geoplastics is actively used. Passages are located so as not to cross with walking routes and organizing the walking route to school. There is an organized linear public space in the center. The houses are located along the perimeter, and the main image of the buildings. Leading up to the park zone the number of storeys in buildings decrease

Multi-section residential house Strelna City

The main idea of the house design is a fractured wall from where the plants grow. Such an effect is attained by building various terraces and balconies. Each section has a unique form.

There are several apartments with private verandas in the courtyard. Parking with the north entrance is located under the entire courtyard.

Workshops and scenic view apartments are located on the upper floors. The lower floors are used for commercial premises with an entrance on the ground floor.

Storerooms and technical rooms are located under the houses. Each roof is supposed to be equipped with green public spaces.

Cycle racetrack for 4,500 spectators Untolovo natural area, Saint Petersburg City 20,000 m2

The main idea of the project was to recreate the landscape that was on this territory before. There was a forest on this territory before but due to the deforestation the round ground area appeared. It was specifically this area that was allocated to us for the project, and I immediately thought about making up for the greenery by building a hill with a hidden cycle track, as well as a multi-level parking that can be used both by ordinary visitors and by special guests. The roof structure is represented by a hanging cable-stayed structure with six cables and with the transparent covering in the middle, providing the light. There are various walking 12

routes on the hill, public spaces and observation platforms for contemplating and enjoying the nature. The main task for me was to create a facility that would match the environment and would be remarkable and picturesque. There is also an exit to the adjacent territory with the special racing routes. Each floor is actually dedicated to specific functions.

Project: Location: Personal project

A country house Leningradskaya Region

The image of the building correlates to organic functionalism, namely to the works of Alvar Aalto and his design of a single space both outside and inside. The whole house is a connection of spaces which is done with the means of pergolas, awnings and terraces. The whole building complex is divided into a sauna with a swimming pool, a pergola with a summer kitchen, the main house and a shed next to the workshop. The house has two storeys. On the first floor, there are a kitchen, 14

a dining room, a living room with a fireplace and a music zone, a bathroom, guest bedrooms and a workshop. The second floor is reserved for a bedroom area with a sauna and a workshop. The main distinguishing feature of the house is the abundance of terraces with awnings and an exploited roof. The cladding of the house is made with natural materials such as brick, wood, and natural stone. The provision of amenities is represented by a garden, a canopy over the garage, the lawn in front of the house and a picturesque landing. 15

Park on Tuchkov Buyan Dobrolyubova Prospect, Saint-Petersburg City 8 hectares

The main idea of the park is to create six themed «islands», 5 of which are named after the well-known symbols of St. Petersburg park construction: Peterhof, Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Gatchina, Oranienbaum. The name of the sixth island is - the park of the future. The theme of the islands can be traced through the entire history of the place, as there were islands on this territory before. Each island has its own distinctive small architectural forms and materials. The concept of greening the park consists of alternating open and closed spaces, providing protection from the wind and a variety of spaces and viewpoints. A hinged trail, which reminds of wooden bridges, is also an important part of the park, which serves as a viewpoint and allows the visitors to enjoy the beauty of the park to the fullest. There are kiosks, swings, various places for seats and elements of playgrounds under the trail. The main building of the park is a multifunctional complex with swimming pools, saunas, a food court and a restaurant with a view. The heated pools are located outside. 16

Housing B is located in the eastern part of Hämeenlinna suburbs on Katumantie 3. We realized that we need to find triggers to attract different people to this area, give existing inhabitants new opportunities, and rethink its territories, providing a deep contact with nature. Moreover, we wanted to focus on the fact that this building already has a social cafe where people always meet for cheap food, communication and computer services. And according to a google review, it is a pretty popular space. So, we decided to demolish the middle part of the existing building and create a new structure with new functions and common use mode that will respond to a modern housing 20

typology and fulfil human, social, and environmental needs in a sustainable way. Putting the common spaces in the middle is the main idea of our project, literally and figuratively. We are convinced that providing different spaces for working, studying, entertaining and communicating is a critical point in this situation. The shared spaces are the heart of the building – easy to reach by everyone. Some areas encourage social activity, and others offer space for retreat and privacy. As a result, the idea has a chance to become a symbol of equality and transparency. 21

One of our goals is to open the building to nature, so we plan to provide various terraces, green rooms, canopies and balconies to diversify the use of the outdoor space in different seasons. We design a green roof for the building and want to improve the yard and create pier and forest infrastructure. As the site has great nature opportunities as forest and lake, we need to connect it with the building as much as possible, providing more natural activities for occupants. We want to create spaces for people who value a community alongside individuality. Residents unite around a common interest of learning and growing from the people they surround themselves with. They also appreciate the positive environmental impact of sharing resources and costs to reduce waste. Our place is perfect for professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, interns, students, family people, remote workers, lonely and elderly people, and many others who want to benefit themselves, their community and the planet.

The building’s major concept was developed in accordance with the project’s basic concept, one of which was to reduce the footprint. As a result, administrative, healthcare, and a basic school were added to the existing building on top of the primary school, and we attempted to make the structure light in order to reduce the load. The main goal became attracting new people to the site, therefore we decided to divide the library from the rest of the building so that anyone may use it. We also chose to separate the kindergarten so that they could 24

have their own building because they have unique demands and routines. The basic educational function is an extensional third-floor with lightweight frame constructions. New indoor sports facilities are located on the first floor and have a strong connection with outside ones. We created a library building also as an independent part to open it for everyone, not only for school students. The central part of the school was added in order to improve the circulation system of the existing school. So that two wing will be connected and some common spaces appear.

One of the main goals was to create a special environment and experience in Tulli area. The conclusion is that that should be implemented in a different ways and the invention of different spatialities and actors from the build environment to benefit to the area on a different scale. The whole experience consista from the journey that you meet and interact with people inside and outside. Saint-Petersburg Land improvement around the housing complex “The legend of Vasilyevskiy Island” 2020

The housing complex of business premium class «The legend on Bolshoy Prospect V.O. » is located in the historical buildings of the 19th century in Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg. The planning solution for the improvement of the yard is based on the graphic lines and strict proportions of the facade, thus, the connection between space and the external appearance of the building can be achieved. The main project plan of Vasilievsky Island also had a significant influence on the layout yard area, the peculiarity of which is the clear geometry of the streets and the perpendicularity of the lines in the direction of prospects. We kind of take a walk along the lines of Vasilievsky Island, look into its green and fragrant courtyards and admire the splendor of architecture and the luxury of antiquity.

The layout of the internal courtyard was dictated by its main feature is a small area and the desire to fit different functional elements. materials.Strict lines and concise shapes support design of the architecture of the residential complex, a modern a plan similar to a suprematist composition. However, the details -reflection of the classic environment: benches, retaining walls are built from a red classic bricks, paving material - paving stones, cast iron tiles. Improvement is not sparse with architecture, but dissolves and emphasizes it.

Leningradskaya Region A Treehouse on the private garden plot 2020

Thinking about the design of the treehouse, we took inspiration from fairytale houses and the aesthetics of the film trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”. Therefore, the idea of creating a house with a round entrance, an interesting shape of the roof, and a special mechanism for lifting things inside the house appeared. Talking about the functional aspect, this project also includes rope paths, climbing equipment, a hammock, a swing, and a climbing wall. Additionally, there is a platform where people can lie looking up at the sky and pine trees. There are holes for the pine trees in the platform. While working on the project in a team we did a lot of changes and edits. 40

Tampere, Finland Vision for the development of the Tampere City 2022

The project creates an urban neighborhood of medium density multi-family dwellings, townhouses, offices, and public open space, with a green pedestrian network. Tesoma’s urban life and natural surroundings merge at the commuter train station. Green structure and the built environment are integrated at all scale levels, with wide green access, square public areas, as well as house green roofs and townhouse gardens.

A distinctive node forms in the environment as urban structures resupply, a commuter train stops, and it radiates life into the Tesoma region as a whole. Combining different modes of transportation at a commuter train stop enables quick, comfortable, and environmentally friendly movement both locally and regionally.

Future Tesoma’s strength lies in its strong identity arising from diversity. Distinctive areas create a network that offers diverse housing options, work and leisure time activities. Citizens of Tesoman have ownership of their environment and community support for a socially sustainable lifestyle.

Urban services are formed around the commuter train stop and a trade concentration supported by a clearly defined urban structure. The revamped commuter rail stop area leans toward a network of meeting points and nodes. The links between the regions will be strengthened, and the green structure will be part of the street space and blocks. The frame of the green structure forms the planning area, with the Central Forest running through it, and the starting point of the planning is to preserve existing forest areas as a whole, centralizing construction in some areas already built up and improving the current situation of intermittent green and ecological connections. The forest zone pushes in part of the block. Meadow Green Roofs in the block areas will support the development of a trackside meadow network. Area stormwater is treated mainly in green block yards and Green Street, the changing Teerivuorenkatu and its associated open space rain gardens.

The structure of parallel load-bearing walls, a facade facing two streets, and an interior courtyard system allow for easy adaptation of the floors to a use other than housing. As a result of this simple spatial and structural system, there has been a significant functional transformation of the district. Many buildings in this central and representative area of the city now integrate commercial and office uses. Therefore, the location is optimal to house the headquarters of the CSCAE (Council of Architects) In this regard, flexibility is crucial, allowing the space to be reconfigured based on planned activities and/or the need to work in an open office or compartmentalized office layout. From a spatial perspective, two large areas have been organized, defined by curved double glass partitions without corners. The first area accommodates the Executive Team, while the other integrates the plenary hall and the rest of the departments, separated by a load-bearing wall equipped with necessary connections and installations, as well as communication doors. Access points, welcome areas, circulation spaces, and service areas are situated between these «bubbles.» B40U53

The irregular floor plan and slatted ceiling in the distributor area create a timeless interior design with an institutional character. A translucent panel integrates the CSCAE logo (with the A in bronze) and provides access on one side to the Presidency office and on B40U53 the other side to the plenary hall. The transparency of the partitions and their rounded corners allow for a panoramic view of the entire space. However, this view can be adjusted by textile elements, such as curtains operated by each user from their workstation, in order to ensure privacy for each individual.

Murmansk 2020

The main design concept is based on the principles of sustainability. Also, it is created according to the history and geographical specifications of that particular place. Working on the analysis, we saw the strong natural potential of this place in terms of a lake and the surrounding marshland. The swamp is the most valuable natural element in spite of people’s misconceptions. The swamp within the city is a unique phenomenon. We decided to create a park with the ecological core. 54

The main points are: -creation of secondary channels gently induration in periods of water rises/ a habitat for local fauna -creation of natural biofiltration filter runoff into rivers and improve water quality. - replenishment of biodiversity in the swamp maintaining biodiversity.
