Candidature for LEO /LORE Motivation letter Dear ZMSSA members I proudly write to you this letter concerning the call for ZMSSA TO candidature. My name is Eslam Emara, 19 years old, 2nd year medical student, I am ZMSSA associate member & hereby to apply for the position ZMSSA LEO/LORE I would like to give you a glimpse of my personality; I am a young motivated, dedicated hard worker, never give up until my work is done & achieved in a perfect way. I am a good learner & perfect searcher for information, always seek for more and more information. I am devoted to my duties learning from others’ rich experiences and mistakes, confident in a way that doesn’t make me blind to my mistakes. I know that I am in deep need for experience but thanks to you (ZMSSA Board) and what I have mentioned about myself I succeeded in joining IFMSA-Egypt publication team as “social media assistant” and in becoming an IFMSA trainer by participating in the TNT held in the pre EMR11 RM all of this in less than 6 month of joining IFMSA. I also think that I have enough information & motivation to be the next LEO as I have attended all SCOPE/SCORE sessions in all IFMSA-Egypt NGAs since I joined IFMSA , I attended SCOPE/SCORE session in the EMR11 RM . I worked as main contact person. I assure you that I will dig away, toil and moil to carry out my jobs & duties towards the committees’ work. Eventually I see no better place but SCOPE/SCORE where can I make use of my social skills & knowledge to change peoples’ life into better. Thanks for your valuable time
Candidature for LEO /LORE Plan of Action 2015/2016 [by Eslam Emara As an officer: - Locally: - Capacity building : Build a powerful and well trained exchange team through periodic trainings and meetings to motivate the members towards the committees’ work and forget about the idea that the exchange is the chamber of secrets - establish a LEO/LORE handout which will include: - interested members in the committee - number of applicants for the exchange exam and their - information - contact persons - all our incomers - strange situations through the season - our contracts - spoiled contracts and its whole situation (I will also try to get these data from exLEOs to include them.) - official consultation hour - determine an hour weekly staying in the HQ or another place if anyone wants to ask about anything just come - try to reach a deal with AIESEC - try to update ZMSSA exchange rules and bylaws
- Outgoings: I want to start with a very good publication strategy as following: # two free orientation sessions about IFMSA Exchange, how it goes and the contracts for this year. Past outgoing students as special guests who will speak about their past experience especially those who travelled to countries which their market is bad # online campaign # offline campaign will be as following: * two students in each study year responsible for talking, publication and motivating members towards our Exchange program * two offline campaigns with registration desk * online registration will be opened during the whole period of publication # determine a session after the exchange exam about: * IFMSA exchange conditions * our contracts and its conditions - after selling the contracts:
Candidature for LEO /LORE # prepare a training for the outgoings about how they can deal with the electronic exchange system, visa issues and the situations they might face # stick to the AFs’ deadlines # Follow up with the students till the arrival of their CA, invitation letter and sending their CC # follow up with their visa issues
- Incomings: - prepare their lodging at least 4 weeks before their arrival - boarding: has a plan on what they are going to eat day by day to ensure the variation and stick to the exchange budget - a nice and short handout for the most important rules (kind of clothes they need, cultural differences, etc.) - prepare a welcome package
# Social program: - 4 weekends outside Zagazig including the national weekend ďƒ communicate with the incomers before their arrival and describe them the weekends (location and approximately costs) outside Zagazig and ask if they want to join to facilitate the hotels reservation before their arrival so we guarantee good prices and places for them

# Contact persons Forget about the past! I want to organize a contact person training during the midyear vacation, the training will have three stages as following: 1st: communication skills and how to socialize 2nd: intercultural learning 3rd: how to be a good contact person and deal in various situations
Candidature for LEO /LORE - the interviews to choose the contact persons after the 3rd stage - a Facebook group for the contact persons to facilitate communications - calls for the social program outside Zagazig will be opened before the arrival of the incomers by one month at least - prepare a regular English club for the contact persons at least once a month to guarantee the improvement of their English level
