HELLO, I´M ESTELA I’m a Spanish Product & Interior designer
I grew up in Spain and I lived, worked and studied in Barcelona, Marseille, New York and Milan. My passion for cultures, art and discoveries inspired me for years of travels, during which I visited over 60 countries across all continents. The wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of human challenges gathered during my studies and travels provided me with a source of unique inspiration for creating distinctive designs. In addition to degrees in Design and Arts, I have strong project management skills developed during years of my work specialising in project development and execution in the fashion retail industry.

DESIGUAL S TO R E MONTREAL I managed the build out of this 264 sqm store, which included working with local architects on adapting Spanish designs to match Canadian standards; coordinating the suppliers and contractors; and performing frequent site visits to oversee the implementation of the project.

03. THOMAS BURBERRY B&B TRADE SHOW I was part of the Burberry group team, which developed the design of this booth. It was part of 2007 BREAD & BUTTER (B&BB) trade show in Barcelona, Spain.

07. MOPE HOLO GRAPHIC PET MOPE is an emotionally engaging pet, which can involve in discussion, counsel and give advice to children. It is a moral and behavioral holographic friend and an educational tool, which is a source of joy and humor but which also focuses on complex topics such as diversity, difference, tolerance and respect.

BACKGROUND Education is one of key issues of global security in 21st century. Education is the best way to prevent major global threats, such as terrorism or conflicts. Opening young minds to various views of people, who are culturally and religiously different, shows children how the only future that is safe, is the future in which people are respected as equals regardless of their background, faith or culture. Drawing has deeply psychological and expressive connotations on children.
08. I TA L I A INDEPENDENT X COACHELLA Italia Independent is a “factory of coolness” which by happens to sell eye-glasses. The company philosophy is clearly summed up in its name: “Made in Italy” is the challenge, pursued by fusing together fashion and design, tradition and innovation, style and creativity. The objective of this project was to identify an appropriate co-branding partner for a new capsule collection. My choice: the well known music destination Coachella

09. WAT E R COLOR S K E TC H I N G What distinguishes watercolor from other media is its luminosity. I enjoy the transparency and spontaneity of using watercolor for shapes and colors. I also like combining them with markers for a powerful final look with distinctive personality.

10. P H OTO GRAPHY B ÂT B PROJECT Bât B is a project about my life experiences in the rough and unruly capital of Provence. Known as a major port with large influx of people from African and Arabic societies, Marseille has a unique identity, which blends its French origins with multitude of cultural influences. The end result can be seen as a unique product of reverse colonialism.
