One must break eggs in order to make an omelette. To make a really good one you’ve got to experiment and be ready to adapt; different herbs, butter, temperature, cheese, time on the stove.
From eggs to esports, each competitive gaming ecosystem is a different beast, and different models can still have an excellent end product. In 2023 with partner programmes or equivalent in VALORANT, PUBG, Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, League of Legends & more, alongside different approaches elsewhere, we take a look at how they’re going and what defines success for all parties involved.

Esports Events Augmented
Esports events have undergone significant change in the past few years. Interest in esports grew exponentially during the pandemic, but they didn’t necessarily have the easiest time going back to online only, and now, as the world returns to live events, this means more in-person tournaments too – with some on a larger scale than before.
How can organisers in APAC leverage new trends and tools to engage a wider audience? What do the fans want to see and what are some new, realistic revenue streams – beyond simply ticketing and F&B? Lastly, what factors determine the sustainability of esport events in the Asian market?
