SMOKE FREE CREMATORIUM FURNACE SYSTEM Introduction Human cremation done by using electrically operated / LPG Fired/ Producer Gas Fired Crematorium Furnace creates lot of smoke – black & semi-black which is sent out through the stack during cremation.

In addition foul smell and lot of particulates are brought out through the stack making the lives of the human being residing in the surroundings of the crematorium. Taking this un hygienic environmental impact on human beings this invention is done by Mr. R M D Nayar who is a former SCIENTIST of National Metallurgical Laboratory, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Government of India Sri Nayar is also a co inventor of the patented product Semi Automatic Carbon Analyser System during his service with NML. For commercialising this invention only CSIR granted extra ordinary leave in the year 1981 for commercialising this technology .He took Voluntary retirement after his leave for his continuing as a business man. For the past three decades this company manufactures crematorium Furnace with emission treatment system and the systems are in operation at various places of India. This new invention in design is a boon to society The Design Details The new design will have a primary Burning Chamber, inbuilt Secondary Burning Chamber, Ash Chamber, Gravity settler, Ventury wet scrubber, Foul odour treatment Chamber negative pressure creation Blower, Opacity control system , Dilution System and finally a stack to a height of 30 Meters from ground level ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTED DESIGN 1., No visible smoke in the stack 2. In Electrical system a saving of electricity to the extent of 30% 3. No flying of particulates 4. No foul odour 5. Frequency of changing wet Scrubber fluid is longer 6. No contamination of body fluids with the ash 7. Loading of the body to the changer is motorised 8. Hearth of the Furnace, Body loading trolley height is at convenient loading level 9.
