The galleries exhibited different art forms by national and international artists. CHEFS FOR CHILDREN GALA AT THE HOTEL LOS MONTEROS
The Chefs for Children Gala took place recently at Hotel Los Monteros Marbella. Some 29 chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants across Spain prepared a sumptuous tasting menu for over 200 guests. All proceeds went to Fundación Juegaterapia (which aims to make the lives of children undergoing chemotherapy a little more fun through games and activities). FASHION SHOW AT THE HOTEL DON PEPE, GRAN MELIÁ

UNITED NATIONALITIES OF MARBELLA SUMMIT: TACKLING ISSUES FACED BY MARBELLA’S YOUTH
The Harbour Marbella hosted Nicole King’s United Nationalities of Marbella Summit on November 18th, once again bringing together communityminded individuals and businesses to help others. This event shone a spotlight on the problems that the younger generation of international residents are facing. These include: a lack of career opportunities and work experience and the alarming increase in suicide attempts by 10-to24-year olds. JOGIS ART PRESENTS ART ON A BOTTLE
JoGis Art, a renowned international artist based in Marbella, recently presented the beer bottle he created in collaboration with Gottan Grill Restaurants. The design is inspired by the tropical climate of Marbella. The beer is called Black Tropic and it is a craft beer with a fruity aroma and flavour. CUDECA – LAUNCHES JOAN HUNT, ONE IN A MILLION CAMPAIGN

HIGUERÓN RESORT HELPS BATTLE BREAST CANCER
Higuerón Resort and the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer recently held a fundraising paddle tennis tournament for breast cancer at the Fuengirola-based resort. Some 140 persons attended and €12.095 were raised. The Association thanked the Higuerón resort for the donations.
