Years after her brutal attack, Kirby discovers that a recent murder is linked to her own assault. She agrees to help veteran reporter Dan Velazquez (Wagner Moura) catch the criminal, but it will involve facing the pain of a past she simply wants to forget.

This series, a prequel to, follows the crew of the USS Enterprise as they soar through the galaxy under the command of Captain Chris Pike. If you loved the original series starring William Shatner, then you may recall that each episode was a closed-ended story that encapsulated important philosophical, political, legal, romantic, or ethical dilemmas the crew aimed to solve. The new series will recapture a little of its questioning spirit.

This documentary-style comedy is set in the fictional female prison, HMP Woldsley. Series writer and creator, Catherine Tate, plays multiple characters – including Laura Willis (the Governor who believes that creativity is the key to rehabilitation) and Big Viv (a psychopath who’s in prison for life). The humour is deadpan and irreverent, yet there are many heartfelt moments that highlight the unique nature of female friendship.
