As the winter season approaches we are pleased to introduce the winter recreation guide. It contains listings of many exciting events and programs planned for the upcoming seasons and we welcome you to participate in or visit the various programs occurring throughout the Town of Essex. It is recommended children and youth should get at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day. Adults, including seniors, should accumulate at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more. Take advantage of our indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, walking tracks and trails, registered programs and many unstructured activities! Sibling Swim Lessons
Parents - you no longer have to return to the pool because your kids are in different learn to swim levels! Register at the Essex Recreation Complex and we will have all siblings swim at the same time, separated into different classes. No matter how many children you have or what swim levels they are at, we want to make it convenient for your family to learn to swim.
1. Choose a time block that works with your family’s schedule and let us match them with the group that best suits their needs – swimmers may be moved throughout the session if necessary. 2. Families with multiple children may be eligible for a discount upon registering with full payment for Sibling Lessons. Post-dated payment option available (Credit Card/Cheque/Electronic Fund Transfer) when provided at time of registration. Pick a time slot and we’ll sort your swimmers! Parent/Tot to Swimmer 9 All levels will swim for 30 minutes during the hour block.
