At Lago Strobel Lodge, we strive to make our cuisine as quality as the shing—and that’s saying something. After a good night’s rest, guests will enjoy a hearty, chef-prepared breakfast to nourish them for a day of shing. After breakfast, anglers split into pairs and head to the water. Following a morning of incredible shing, guests have the option of returning to the lodge for a plentiful lunch and a siesta or taking their lunch on the water. Guests that choose to eat in the eld can enjoy the strategically located “sun lounges” build around the property. After returning from an amazing day of shing, guests can freshen up before dinner and enjoy a cocktail from our fully stocked bar.

We take food seriously and our operation strives to deliver great and hearty meals to match the shing experience!!!

Strobel Lodge and Estancia

Laguna Verde we have in our cellars hundreds of bottles of wine personally selected by the lodge owners as well as a large assortment of local Patagonian and Argentine cheeses, aged on site. Appetizers, cocktails, and Argentine wines are served as guests tell stories from the day. Seated in our beautiful dining room, guests can expect an ample 3-course dinner with dishes of steak, lamb, pork, chicken, house-made pastas, and sh. Each course is paired with a chef-selected wine to accompany the meal. A favorite of our guests, one night our chef and sous chef will prepare a traditional Argentine asado of grilled meats. After the main course, dessert is served along with after dinner drinks. With zero light pollution and constellations unique to the southern hemisphere, you can enjoy a cigar and cocktail under the Patagonian sky. The Lodge is located very close to Lake Strobel, and according to where you will be shing each day, drives could take from 5/10 minutes to 30 minutes.

Fishing tackle:

At LSL, we value the idea and concept of sight shing with oating lines. All our shing programs are designed to try to obtain the best results, with the most rewarding style of shing.

With that in mind, about 95 % of the shing throughout the season is done with oating lines. In certain spots and in special conditions, our guides suggest sink tip lines or adding a sink tip poly leader, to work speci c slots with sh cruising at sight deeper in the water column.

What is included / what is not included

Included:

-Transfers to/from Calafate (Santa Cruz) to/from Estancia

Laguna Verde Lodge, with specially prepared comfortable transportation and 4-wheel drive trucks with rod racks.

-Fishing at Strobel Lake and Barrancoso River, .

-Use of 4-wheel drive trucks and ATV´s inside the Estancia.

-One professional guide for every two rods.

-All meals at the Lodge prepared by our Chef

-All drinks at the Lodge, such as great Argentinian wine, beer, soft drinks, cocktails, whiskey, cognac, gin, Fernet Branca, Campari, Cinzano, Gancia, and others.

-Laundry service twice a week.

-Electricity 24 hours a day (220 volts.)

-Satellite television.

-Wireless Internet access.
