About the Kanadun Caucau

Carnival:

The Kanadun Caucau Carnival 南方草草節 is a festival held yearly during May in the town of Jinlun, Taitung. It is organised by Sam Lin and Nathan Hsieh and aims to promote a better living environment for the local community and revitalise the local traditions.

How to use this booklet:

Beads are one of the three treasures of the Paiwan Tribe. This booklet will take you on a journey through seven different locations across the town of Jinlun where you will experience the local culture as you learn more about the meaning of the Paiwan beads and their patterns. Your mission is to find the locations of each stamp and match it to the description on the booklet. Don’t forget to support local businesses!
