New York, NY ǀ Current Worked from Schematic Design to Construction Administration on renovations and ground up laboratory and healthcare projects for Memorial Sloan Kettering. From developing flow diagrams, and program studies, to reviewing submittals, RFI’s, creating field reports on site, and punch listing. Developed and planned the renovation for Wyckoff Heights Medical Center through schematic medical planning and life safety studies of the existing structure and proposed renovation. Boston, MA ǀ Summer 2015 Developed RCP’s, demolition plans, interior elevations and details, and all phases of the Construction Documents for renovations in Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Health Sciences Campus. Created interior renderings, and redesigned plans for the relocation of programs for office and lab additions in Tufts School of Nutrition and the School of Biomedical Research. Worked on the Real-Estate Asset Planning study for Tufts University Health Sciences Campus producing diagrams and presentations that evaluated current and future real estate needs in context with the University and Downtown. As well as identifying options for future development.

Terreform ONE

Brooklyn, NY ǀ Summer 2014 Researched ways to re-purpose tires using bioluminescent bacteria. Worked on ways to symbolically and metaphorically represent an individuals CO² emission in Manhattan using cut tires, crates, and vibrio fischeri bacteria. Assisted in side projects such as, designing the form for a mycelium mushroom chair, and participating in the design competition for the Guggenheim in Helsinki.

Clemens Bruns Schaub Architect & Associates

Vero Beach, FL ǀ Summer 2013 Created and Architectural detail library, as well as organized the internal office database by creating dynamic blocks of commonly used designs in AutoCAD. Retouched photographs and sketches using Adobe Photoshop. Assisted in design development of interior materials and details. Worked on site during construction administration to address changes and discrepancies discovered during construction.

Through the use of bioluminescent bacteria that feed of methane, our site becomes a natural glowing landscape in its artificial surroundings. It is a center for education and relaxation that raises awareness of the levels of pollution on site.


NATURAL VS. ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING

THAMES RIVER WATER QUALITY

Methane from the waste facility enters the water, the more methane it receives the more it glows. The more polluted the water the dimmer the glow.

VIEWS FROM TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

From every car 5% of methane is released. The air suction fan will intake the polluted air, and transport the methane through the tubes in order to feed the Vibrio Fischeri bacteria. A layer of SBM will be located afted the fan in order to separate the gases in the smoke.
