Roksanda Illincic is a Serbian fashion designer based in London. Illincic studied architecture and design before she came to study Womenswear at Central Saint Martins in London. Illincic has been showing her collections in London Fashion Week since 2005. Roksanda offers swimwear , childrenswear, and ready-to-wear clothing. The label is currently stocked in over 40 countries worldwide.


THE LOOK


SKETCH IDEATION




PATTERN IDEATION


THE BODICE basic bodice squared out and darts removed. shoulder seam lengthened on back bodice and shortened on the front bodice. side seams trued and grain lines adjusted. pleat guide created and used the knife pleat tool to creat the pleats in the front and back bodice.


THE SKIRT

similar to bodice; squared out skirt and adjusted skirt length. side seams trued and grain lines adjusted. created a pleat guideline and created one box pleat floowedby multiple knife pleats.


COLLAR

to create fullness a circle shape was made then left space for seam allowance on both sides. a band was created to attach the bottom collar to the top collar and to hold the elastic.


SLEEVE

created a basic sleeve with the sleeve tool. I had to make sure i used the measurments of the front and back before the shoulder was extended in the back for the piping.
