Additional Subjects: Allow us to introduce your lead Educator: Meredith Thompson is a CIDESCO-certified esthetician and has been active in various areas of the beauty industry for over 10 years. In addition, Meredith received the designation of Certified Podologist from the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners in 2008, and is an enthusiastic advocate and practitioner of advanced pedicuring and preventative foot care. In 2012, Meredith returned to university, and she graduates from the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in Cellular, Microbial, and Molecular biology in 2016. Meredith also enjoys the outdoors and spends time hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains with her husband, Jon. “I’m proud to represent The Esthetic Institute and participate in the development of the next wave of internationally certified estheticians. FINANCINGE Financing/Student Loans AVAILABL The Esthetic Diploma Program is licensed for Student Loans from Student Aid. The Earn While You Learn program offered at TEI allows students to earn credit dollars for services performed on actual clients after receiving Senior Student status. Students may use the credit they earn while training towards advanced post graduate courses – such as Microblading, Permanent Makeup, Laser Hair Removal, IPL/Skin Rejuvenation, Laser Tattoo Removal, and more.
In 2016, TEI was approved as a school in training towards CIDESCO Accreditation. In 2017, our first diploma program students were qualified to take the internationally recognized CIDESCO exam. Upon successful completion, students will receive a CIDESCO Diploma.
CIDESCO is the world’s major international beauty therapy Association, represented in over 40 countries in 5 continents. The CIDESCO Diploma is the most prestigious qualification in the field of esthetics and beauty therapy. Our graduates are able to take the international CIDESCO examination and earn the CIDESCO Diploma that is recognized globally. This opens doors to more career options – nationally and internationally!
