GETTING INVOLVED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING An entrepreneur is not the person who just creates a new venture. Entrepreneurs develop an attitude in life, which is forwarded to the performance of a profession. This means we must start by developing such sttitude as students: ENTREPRENEURIAL STUDENTS (ES) Entrepreneurial attitude provides ADDED VALUE to a students' CV. It is highly recognized by employers as a complement to technical knowledge. It is a corner stone for professional development.

BancajaUSC Chair action lines: AIMS • To improve students’ “employability”: to increase their CV when they face that moment of applying for a job or finding support (financial or any other type) to start up their own business. • To increase students’ perception of entrepreneurship as viable selfemployment and job opportunity.

The USC ES_Club • Young people like to feel part of a group with similar conciousness about their future: they must consider themselves as responsible for their own professional future and feel a commitment to the future development of society. • Students take an active part in designing and organising our activities programme. • Their training starts by becoming an entrepreneurial student.

Some future challengers • Enhanced efforts to achieve a real change of mindset in students, making them aware that they are primarily responsible for their professional future which will be affected by many changes in the labour market (a lifetime work at the same company, in the same place, does not exists anymore). • Incorporating entrepreneurship education into all degree requirements (providing courses and other activities in entrepreneurship as cross credits). • Improving its image as a trainer of entrepreneurs to cope with the increased competition of Vocational Training. • Being open to collaborative agreements with private companies and institutions: a strategy for success and synergy.

Entrepreneurship education is a long term process; we can’t do much in just one year, but if we don’t do anything in a year, it will be a lost year.
