Celebrating the Class of 2020
A total of 1,101 students received degrees from ESU on May 9, 2020. While
COVID-19 forced the cancellation of spring commencement, celebrations were held virtually, featuring messages from President
Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D., Wil Del Pilar, Ph.D., vice president of higher education at The Education
Trust, and Leila Bouchekouk ’20, ESU student government president.
A video was created using photos graduating students submitted of their favorite campus memories, along with a digital copy of a commemorative celebration booklet. All can be seen at esu.edu/celebrate.
