There is always an equilibrium, that has nothing to do with boundaries. We see the line diffuse, which line? Is there even one? What we know is not the same as what we think we know. Even though characters in Fabien Lemaire´s juxtaposed images seem to be placed in two different places at the same time or none at all and Melissa Auf der Maur holds “a mirror to dreams and parallel versions of reality” (quoted from page 35), we should never forget that “there should be something raw in this, something real” (Roman Yakubson on art, quoted from page 17)
