THINGS TO KNOW for MS winter retreat. . . February 6 We are meeting at the church at 4p - we hope to leave shortly after. We will return around 3p on Sunday. While there, Jason’s cell will serve as the emergency contact number: 248.420.0034. You can also call the camp in emergency situations only. New Life Camp’s number is 989.685.2949. Remember that while much of our activities will be outside, there is an indoor gymnasium so please pack accordingly. Snow pants are strongly encouraged! We are excited to see what God is going to do in and through the weekend...hope you are too!
PACKING LIST ESSENTIALS AND STRONGLY RECOMMENDED: !
Bible, notebook and pen ! Seasonably appropriate clothing: Shorts, t-shirts, long pants, sweatshirt ! Winter Gear: Snow pants, winter coat, heavy socks, gloves, winter hats ! Pajamas, underwear and extra socks ! Sturdy shoes and winter boots ! Bath towel, washcloth, toiletries and comb or brush in a small bag to carry to bath ! Sleeping bag and pillow ! Flashlight ! GUYS - drinks to share with the group ! LADIES - snacks to share with the group ! Camera and charger ! Any appropriate board or card games ! Dirty laundry bag ! Money for 2 fast food stops and (if you would like) for snack/gift shop (Also - will be stopping at the beef jerky outlet for those interested! Mertzs? Stewarts?)
Please note: we will have tubing, ice skating and broom ball all available to us. In addition - we will be doing some gym activities. Highly recommend you bring separate shoes for indoor/ outdoor use.
