We know how important it is to have a good grasp of English and maths. We want to help all of our students to develop their basic knowledge and pick up the qualifications to match.

If you haven’t already achieved grade 9-4/A*-C in these subjects at GCSE, you will continue to work towards these qualifications alongside your full-time course or

apprenticeship. For students under the age of 19 it is a Government requirement that you keep working towards these core GCSEs if you haven’t already achieved them.
