INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING PATHWAY ELECTRICAL

LEVEL 1 - 1 YEAR

WHAT WILL I DO?

Our engineering courses cover a wide range of services and technical skills relevant to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering. Learning in a hands-on environment, you’ll get the technical know-how along with important lessons in health and safety and other areas such as an introduction to: basic power tools/hand tools, cutting and shaping, turning/milling, bench fitting, and welding as well as applying for jobs, CV writing, and interview techniques.

You will also learn in a real working environment with access to all of the College facilities, while being taught by all of our industry-experienced tutors.

YOU NEED:

No formal entry requirements are needed but a good knowledge of English and maths is advisable.

Progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations.

DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS - CITY & GUILDS 2365

LEVEL 2 – 1 YEAR

WHAT WILL I DO?

Learning in a hands-on working environment you’ll quickly develop the skills of your chosen trade. And through lectures, presentations and demonstrations you’ll learn the theory to back up those skills.

YOU NEED:

Students aged 16 to 19 require a minimum GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent qualification in maths, English and preferably in science. However, a grade 3/D in English and science may be considered plus references.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations.

ADVANCED TECHNICAL DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS - CITY & GUILDS 8202
