Whether you want to work in a high street salon, run your own business or travel the world offering treatments on a cruise ship, a career in beauty can get you there.

Our programmes will give you the skills and knowledge you need to get started, deliver great service and master the latest techniques.

DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY (GENERAL)

LEVEL 1 - 1 YEAR WHAT WILL I DO?

Training is in our on-site salon where you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to launch your future career. You will learn a basic facial, manicure, pedicure and make-up. You will also learn about health and safety, presenting a professional image and how the body works.

YOU NEED:

If you have GCSEs grade 3 or above in English and maths you can start your studies at this level. Functional Skills/GCSE attendance is compulsory unless you have grade 4 in maths and English.

WHAT’S NEXT?

After successfully completing this course you could progress to a second year of study in Level 2 Beauty Therapy or Nail Services.

DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY

LEVEL 2 - 1 YEAR WHAT WILL I DO?

Training in our on-site salon where you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to launch your future career, you will learn manicure, pedicure, facials, lash and brow treatments and make-up. You will also learn about health & safety and how the body works.

YOU NEED:

Beauty Therapy Level 1 qualification and English GCSE grade 5 or above. Or if you have GCSEs grade 5 or above in English and maths, or if you are 19+ you can start your studies at this level.

WHAT’S NEXT?

After successfully completing this course you could progress to Level 3 Beauty Therapy.

DIPLOMA IN BEAUTY THERAPY

LEVEL 3 - 1 YEAR WHAT WILL I DO?

Throughout this course you will learn to carry out more advanced techniques including massage, stone therapy, body electrical treatments and electrical epilation. All of the work you do will go towards building your own e-portfolio which will be assessed.

YOU NEED:

Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Extend your skills by moving on to our Level 4 Advanced Beauty Therapy Diploma. You can also gain employment in a salon, cruise ship, spa or you could set up your own business.

If you don’t have English and maths at GCSE grade 9-4, you will continue to work towards this as part of your main programme of study.
