Introduction The project we are presenting now is a digital magazine that includes, the best texts we write in the subjects of English and Literature, while we were doing this text that we are going to present now, we have to learn how to write it. We began with the easiest part that was just the structure of each text. For example how many stanzas we need, how many words, we had to increase our vocabulary and to avoid writing the same words; also to know the meaning of new words that are used in the area of literature. With the project we are able to recognize the difference between the texts of English and Literature. The writings in literature are more related for the theater and expressing the feeling of the author, using a poetic language that beautifies the words making more notorious the emotions, but in English are more like school and scientific works. They are more related to education sometimes, were we can express our opinions, but not as much as the literature texts. Both of the areas used informal or formal language but depending on the type of text. A 3
similarity between both documents of these two subjects is that they could be address to a specific public, or in general, to all people. The grammar in this text is an important thing, because, it gives the meaning to everything. It’s necessary that the writer has a good grammar to be specific and direct in what we want’s to say, so the reader can understand what you are saying. With this work we were able to express our ideas in a structured and understandable way. While writing we needed to learn the meaning of new words and expressions we weren’t used to. In the writing we needed to be very careful to show our ideas.

In 1996, there was two ranches and the owners were enemies because both of them sell food like: fruits, vegetables and meat. They also sell flowers, they hate each other because both of them wanted to be the best in the business, they didn’t know how to share and be nice. In the ranch of the family Villarreal lived a girl named Claudia that was the daughter of the owners. She was 19 years old and she helped her family with the ranch, she had a mare named Marcelina. They love each other 5
and they were best friends, Marcelina was very happy with Claudia and Claudia was very happy with Marcelina. Claudia didn’t have any other friends because she was very occupied with the ranch and the girl of the other ranch was of her age but they couldn’t be friends because their fathers were enemies. Marcelina was a clydeslade mare and the color was black with white legs. She was very happy and lovely. In the ranch of the Martinez lived a girl named Eloisa that was the daughter of the owners. She was 19 years old and she helped her parents in the ranch, she didn’t study and she didn’t has friends her only friend was her mare. Eloisa has a mare named Perla. Perla made Eloisa the happiest girl in the world and Eloisa made Perla the happiest mare in the world. Perla was percheron mare that was pinto, the colors were coffee and white. She was very happy and lovely. Claudia and Eloisa had a lot in common but their families wouldn’t let them be friends never. Claudia knows that Eloisa was a very good person and that they could be very good friends but she didn’t want to have problems with her family. Eloisa wasn’t sure about Claudia, sometimes she believed that Claudia was a good person but the her parents told her that Claudia and all her family were very bad persons that only wanted that other families suffered so she had her doubts.

Every year the state made a competition of ranches, the ranch with the best food and the beautiful ranch wins, but the ranches of this two families never won because they never focused on the ranch and the food they only focused in be competitive, they were so competitive and selfish. The parents of Eloisa never pay attention on her and her necessities, they were so occupied all the time fighting with the family of Claudia. And the family of Claudia was the same, they never pay attention to his daughter. Eloisa and Claudia lived similar thing everyday because their parents were the same, their parents hate each other but they didn’t realized they were similar, all the things that each family criticized of the other family they did it too. Every time that Claudia feels sad she went to ride for all the town with Perla, Claudia had a very special place in the river, every time she feels sad or mad or she wanted to be alone she went to this special place. No one knows this place and she was very happy of that. This place makes her feel better and very peaceful. One day Eloisa had a fight with her mom so she took Marcelina and went to ride for all the town until she arrived to that beautiful place in the river that was alone, the only thing that she didn’t notice was that Claudia was there, so she stay there until Claudia saw her and she told her that she has to leave. C: What are you doing here? E: Is not of your business. 7
C: This is my place you can’t be here. Are you following me? E: Of course no I don’t even like you. C: Did your parents send you? E: No, I just wanted to be alone, I just fight with my mom and I am very mad and sad. I really don’t have energy to fight with you. C: oh! I am sorry, can I help you with something? I don’t really like fighting with you and your family but my father’s think that we have to do it. E: I know! I hate fighting all the time but my family want to do it all the time, I am so tired of doing this. C: I know and I think that we have a lot in common and maybe we could be friends. What do you think? E: I think that is a great idea, we have many things in common like the ranch, that we love horses and that we have horses. C: We also love clothes and hate that our families fight all the time. E: I think that we would be good friends C: Let’s see us here everyday, do you agree? E: yeah! I love that idea. See you tomorrow. Each girl went to home with a big smile because they discovered a friend and discovered that her neighbor wasn’t a bad person in fact it was a very nice and lovely person. They were decided to tell her family but when they arrived they notice that her families were fighting again, so they only go to her rooms and started chatting.

The next day they see each other in the same place. When they arrived they started talking and planning something so their families would stop fighting. C: Hi! E: Hi, how are you? C: fine thank you and you? E: Fine. I was thinking that we could plan something so our families can stop fighting. C: I think that is a good idea. Maybe we could talk with them and convinced them that the neighbors aren’t bad people. What do you think? E: I think that is a very good idea. I would talk with my parents and you talk with your parents. C: ok. When you finish let me know what happens. The girls went home and talked with her parents, they talked a lot with them because they didn’t want to accept the idea of being friends with the other family. Finally they convinced their families so they prepared a meal soy each family could live and meet each other, the start passing a lot of time together and they discovered that they had a lot in common. One day Claudia an Eloisa had a great idea: C: Maybe we could put together the ranches so with all the good things of each ranch maybe we would win the competition:

E: I think that is a great idea, if we combined all the good things of each ranch and family we would win and we are going to be happier and stop fighting. C: Yeah! Let’s do that. So the ranch of the family Villarreal and the ranch of the family Martinez combined and become the ranch of hope and they win the competition and stopped fighting. Eloisa and Claudia now lived very happy and they are best friends, they do all together. Marcelina and Perla are friends and they help their owners a lot. Everybody goes to the ranch of hope because it is very beautiful and has very good food also all the people that worked there are very nice and lovely. And they lived happily ever after.
Autobiographical short story By: Raul Martinez 2°”E”
I was born in Mexico, in 2001. When I was born, my mom and dad decided to call me Raul. I entered to the kindergarten when I was 3 years old. I really don´t remember that part of my life, but I make my first friends there. When I was 5 years old I got my dog a beautiful that was a schnauzer and also my best friend. But when I was in elementary school more specific in 2nd year, I learned to play the 10
flute and a little of guitar. In This year I met one of my best friends, I don´t remember very well but we used to play in the recess with another friends and it was funny because we used to be creative. I don´t remember very well but when I was in 3th year of elementary school I was a good student, and I entered to the basketball team of the elementary school, But my first game was on 4th grade, at the beginning I was not a very good player but then I started to play better. When I was in 4th year of elementary school I went to a competition of track and field because a teacher told me that I was a good runner so he invited me to that competition. I lose because the other guys were older than me but I got a good place. When I was in 5th year of elementary school I discovered a new planet out of the solar system, But it was inhabited so I conquest that planet.
I won’t forget the 6th year of the elementary school because that year I met new interesting people and because I did a lot of things. For example I met a friend from the United States and I went with him and with another two friends to the movies. At the end of the year I left the basketball team because I preferred to do another activities by

myself. And I won´t forget this year because I graduate from elementary school. When I was 12 years old I met one of my best friends, I went with him to a concert of the Beatles, they played beautiful songs and after that we went with other friends to play video games. That night was one of the best experiences of my life because I went to hear the Beatles and they played my favorite song cielito lindo, I was in 1st year of the junior high school, And I entered one more time to the basketball team of junior high school. Next year in 2nd year I met new interesting people out of school, because I went with some friends to learn parkour and Skateboarding. Actually 2nd year of junior high school was the best school year of my life because I discovered the journey in the time, so I went to the future and I changed something from this year to prevent something in the year 2020 because in that year the world war 3 have started because of Donald trump. And the last year I change from school, In This school I met new friends, I entered to the Track and field team, actually I am better in track and field than in basketball. In that year I traveled to the past and I went to the World War 2, I fought with The united states and I 12
give them weapons from this century so they won every battle. And I finish the junior high school a month later. Now I am trying to invent the cure for a virus that transform people in zombies in a world that is parallel to this. While I am trying to invent this cure, one friend is fighting in another planet with a lot of aliens to keep the peace in the universe. But while I am making the cure for that virus I am coursing the 1st year of the high school.

Before starting present this theme I want to define tolerance, in the dictionary it says that is the willingness to accept behavior and beliefs that are different from your own, even if you disagree with or disapprove of them. Most of the people are not tolerance with others and we can see it in the school, town, or country well, all around the world with the bullying, the racism, or when people do not respect others. To have tolerance, personally I thing it depends on several things. Firstly, it depends on the patient the person has. If they are not patient, with other people’s mistakes to explode, and exasperate, we can see an example in the reading “what, of this goldfish would you wish?” when the goldfish start to insist Sergei to use his last wish, he looked at the opportunity to finally go away from the life of Sergei and he took the risk. Secondly, the values, if their parents do not teach his values, he cannot know how to treat others in a good way, he cannot know what’s respect, or other value. In the trailer, “my so-called enemy”, we can see 13
that even when the countries of the girls are in war they respect each other. Finally, for me it depends on the attitude he has in the society, if that person don’t have a good attitude, people cannot expect that that person threat them correctly, because he do not feel confortable, continue with the example of the trailer the girls tries to have the best relationship, they make an effort to have the best attitude. So, to conclude, I would say that tolerance, well, I mean all the values are taught at home, and you need to have them because society is based on values. So people have to try to live in a calm and good environment.
Family or friends? ESSAY Emilia Torres Buerba 2°E
Spending time with your friends and family members is really important and crucial for our daily life. But, which one is more important? I would like to begin by saying that one of the main reasons we hang out with friends is because we share interest and ideas. For example, my friends and I like to make movies nights because all of us like watching movies and we are interested in the same type of genres.

On the other hand, when you spend time with your family is because, even if you don’t have the same interests, you care about them and their opinions. I believe that usually we spend more time with our family because you live with or near them and it is easier to see them often. And with friends you need to change your schedule and time. In conclusion, I think that it only depends on you; if you prefer being with your friends or family. And it also depends on external factors

Do you remember about the makeover in my house, I really enjoyed the process of the makeover because I could choose all the things like the color, decorations, and stuffs of the room. The room that was makeover was mine so that make it more interesting, I really like the result, they put all the things that I like and now my room looks like a teenager room. Zodiac Emilia Torres 2°”E”
Zodiac is one of the best thriller films I’ve ever seen. It’s based on the 70´s zodiac murders that are a series of unsolved crimes. It was directed by David Fincher and starring with Jake Gyllenhaal. The plot is about a cartoonist that becomes obsessed with the zodiac´s case. The killer sends encrypted messages to the police; Robert (the cartoonist), as an amateur investigator began and tries to help the police in solving the messages. I liked this movie because it’s focused on the investigation that was followed for solving or at least knowing about this case. In my opinion this movies gives you a different perspective about investigators and criminals. 17

Conclusion We can conclude that when we started with this project it was difficult, because at first we were not able to choose which ones were the best texts, but while doing this project we had to work in team, and help us each other while doing the selection and corrections on the writing and had to remember how to do them again. 20
It was interesting to learn the ways other thing and express themselves in the different writings we were able to write. Everyone had a different way of writing and expressing their thinking and with this project we were able to know and see each other with a different perspective. There were two types of texts, literary and academic. For some of us it was easier to write the literary texts because it was a tool for expressing ourselves and to examine our on thinking. We wrote a biography, a short story, a poem, etc; and it gave us time to know better our own minds. On the other hand, the academic texts, were more structured and had more rules. For other ones it was easier writing them because it was not really about expressing our feelings, it was about knowing the format of those writings and to know new types of texts. Here we learned that each one of us were different, in their thinking, and expressing, also by learning and understanding, we have to work together even we have not done it before, and it was difficult at the first time, because we were not used to do it but we continue helping everyone to complete this project. This project help us to know more about each other and to recognized the qualities of each one of us, we also discovered the way of thinking of our classmates while doing this digital magazine.
