2B Studio Final Location: Parkhill Bridge, Cambridge, ON. Canada

Para[SITE] is a conceptual landscape study set along the Grand River located in Cambridge, ON. This project explores the potentials and possibilities of landscape architecture.

The designed structure of this project mimics tendrils of a parasitic organism with vegatative properties. The vine-like pathways connect many existing elements on site; from the natural riverbank, to the man-made industrial bridge, to the historic floodwall bearing historic properties. It acts as an all encompassing public park while doubling as pedestrian walkway. It strives to merge together greenspace without alienating the built environment
