A Progressive Rock/Metal album that experiments with combining diverse textures and sounds merged with deep electronic passages, folk and ethnic elements with heavy metal. 10 MP3 Songs METAL/PUNK: Progressive Metal, ROCK: Progressive Rock Details: Times Forgotten, the Costa Rican progressive rock band was born in the year 2004 in San Jos, Costa Rica, with the intention of experimenting with diverse textures and sounds to be merged with rock music, including electronic ethnic elements with heavy metal. After working on the production of their first album A Relative Moment of Peace, during a two and a half year period, the record was released in August of 2006, surprising the Costa Rican market with very considerable sales (about 300 records in three months) considering that this is a band that had never played live before. In November of that same year, the bands first concert was scheduled at the Eugene ONeill Theater in San Jos, with the idea of presenting the album to the fans which filled completely the 300 seats of the theater; even leaving 60 people outside the venue. In January of 2007 the band presented their album for the second time in the beautiful Anfitheatre of the National Center of Culture of Costa Rica in front of a crowd of 600 people, impressive for being the bands second show. Besides the achievements at a national level, which include more than 800 copies sold in less than seven months in Costa Rica, something never heard of in a country with a very small music market, Times Forgotten was invited to participate on one of the most important progressive rock festivals in the planet: the Baja Prog festival in Mexicali, Mexico, where they shared the stage with some of the greatest names in the progressive genre, a new step for a Costa Rican band. During the year 2007, Times Forgotten got to share the stage with international bands such as Angra from Brazil, EZOO and CAST from Mexico, and had made several important appearances in Costa Rica.
