Hi, I´m Annerley!
This album for me is MASSIVE.
I've been in this fantastic business for over 30 years and to be honest, on looking back - on REFLECTING - I wouldn't change a single thing - how lucky is that?!
I'm in a happy place, like an island made of bridges and rocksmore on those rocks later :-)
Right from singing in the bathroom as a favourite pastime - cos tiles mix your voice fantastically - to being on stage in front of wonderful people and not being afraid of 'belting it out', I can only say that I've been DAMNED lucky!
I've made life-long friends, been given incredible opportunities and loved what I'm doing with an unstoppable energy and desire to do more.
Now I can REFLECT on that time and those years with immenselet me say it - pride in the amazingly talented 'rocks' in my life and the incredible friends I've met along the way. What a journey! so... let's do more - right?

A little girl from Sheffield...
BLIMEY I'VE GROWN!!!
This was my first official school photo... on that morning I had decided to cut off my fringe to look like my favourite doll, who'd been attacked with a pair of scissors by my little brother...
Not knowing what my future was gonna be, but by pic number two, I was already living on my own and had already completed a whole folder of ('poems'? 'lyrics'??) mad ramblings!!
Hopeless at just about anything academic but with a strong sense of independence, I think there was a strong musical talent that obviously went un-noticed , cos that's what you do as a hobby right?
So, moving further on and by this time out of England, I get out the legs and start to enjoy what I do best (the only thing by the way), singing and writing.
Performing comes later!
Session singing as a passion
How on earth did I end up on a stage in Porto Roz??
Well, I can't remember either, but I DO remember nearly every minute of these amazing photo sessions with Maurizio Montani.
By this time I had loads of tracks under my belt including eurobeat pieces with accompanying pseudonyms with the great Giancarlo Pasquini, the ever present Sandro Oliva, the crazy and wonderful Andrea Leonardi and the gentle, kind and sorely missed Gino Caria...
All of this is mostly due to one person who right from the start believed that I could be capable of doing something in this mad business, and that was Gianni CorRaini. He took me to loads of producers and musicians such as Mauro Farina from Saifam, Theo Spagna (absolute jewel!!) and Stefano Cundari (miss you much).
From then on (I don't think I was turned away from anywhere to be honest) came another load of fabulous 90s dance tracksand more pseudonyms of course!
Big in Japan... and beyond
the first two photos are from my trip to tokyo in 1994. Domino and I were off to japan for my first show...make or break... i was so nervous! the show is on youTube by the way!
A whirlwind of fantastic moments, incredible people and me singing and writing at every chance I could get... NOW THAT'S CALLED LEARNING ON THE JOB!! 1993, 1994 and 1995 took me to countless studios all over italy, meeting people i still feel a strong connection with today.
Fast forward... from session singer (over 50 artist names by now if not more) to Ally & Jo, to Ann Lee - then all of a sudden I'm on the cover of a magazine! How lucky is that!
the success of the ann lee project carried on for the better part of a decade, taking me all around the world. i loved every second of it...
A music family
I haven't worked with EVERY kind of music, but I've had the luck to be able to learn on the job doing various genres from cover songs to eurobeat to eurodance to ballads and even ballroom music (rigorously live nearly every evening and so building up my vocal strength).
Singing, writing and studio work was what I loved best!
i took a loooong break to give my life to my son (he's got my mum's fabulous green eyes!).
then, After a few years bounce back... reconnect with beautiful people and meet yet more. I'm in a good place and I want to share it with you who take the time to read these words...

Anderson luis souza aka active state is a DJ and producer from Belem, Para, Brazil. his discography is very impressive, having appeared on labels such as infrasonic, alter ego records and even the almighty ARMAda label founded by armin van buuren.
although i am also quite comfortable in the trance genre, the demo that anderson supplied was something very different entirely! 'The Party" is just what the title suggests it is: a super catchy happy track that makes you want to dance and sing along to in your living room like noone is watching.
Very 90's, very eurodance and a perfect fit for this album.

RIYAAL SOOKAYEE IS A TALENTED PRODUCER FROM SOUTH AFRICA, WHO I GOT TO KNOW WHEN HE SENT IN A REMIX OF MY TRACK "RING MY BELL" AS ANN LEE. I LIKED THE REMIX SO MUCH THAT I PERFORMED IT SEVERAL TIMES ON STAGE IN SPAIN - AND THE CROWD LOVED IT!
UNDER HIS ARTIST NAME DAYDREAMERS HE CREATES HIGH QUALITY MUSIC IN GENRES SUCH AS TRANCE, TECH HOUSE AND VARIOUS COMBINATIONS OF THOSE - ALWAYS WITH DREAMY MELODIES AND MAIN FLOOR AMBITIONS.
WHEN HE HEARD OF MY NEW ALBUM, HE WAS THE FIRST TO SEND IN TONS OF DEMOS! ALTHOUGH I LIKED ALL OF THEM, THE ONE WE CHOSE FOR THE ALBUM STOOD OUT IMMEDIATELY. IT CAME TOGETHER IN NO TIME -TO WAIT- AND I LOVE THE RESULT!
DHANY
Selfless, super talented, beautiful and intelligent - Dhany and I go back a long way! we first met up in 1995 while working at X-Energy and Off Limits, realising her talent and friendship which led to the collaborations for the Ally & Jo project: she's an incredible person with a voice that is truly one of a kind! As a writer she gave my career an incredible boost with "2 TIMES" and several tracks on the first album "DREAMS".
we had a lot of success working with the Benassi Bros, she as featured vocalist and me putting in a bit of writing! after years of focussing on our respective families we reconnected in 2020, holding streamings online and soon after working together on the track "ONE NIGHT WITH YOU" among several others. I'm proud to say our friendship has never been stronger!
FABIO RICCI
Fabio has been a dj, composer and producer since the 80's, and even has a degree in audio engineering. As modest as he is, he was not even sure if he should send in his demo. But with that beat and incredible heavy 90's synths he should not have worried. i abolutely loved it immediately, and the track came together in no time at all.!
i was surprised to learn that fabio also wrote and produced a great track for ken laszlo. As you can read elsewhere in this booklet, ken aka gianni was one of my first friends in the italian music scene!
Isn't it great how we all are connected one way or the other?

FABIO SARNI
Fabio was the star of some big eurodance anthems of the 90's, the most notable being "i want you", as Po.Lo.
Other hits that fabio featured on were "looking over" by T-rex and "don't break my heart" by nick ray.
Fabio is making quite a comeback as fabio s, with his new version of his song "i want you 2024" produced by our very own samus jay and "YOU DON'T LET ME GO" PRODUCED BY OUR STAR TEAM NU.MA & PIRMAUT.
New projects are underway, but in the meantime fabio spiced up my great track "fallin' for you", which i am happy to include on this album!
IKER HUITZI
FRANK AMONG
Frank started out in the music world in 2014 when he teamed up to write tracks with MAY BAX, the pseudonym of his long time friend Fabio Bassoli.
Always fanS of dance and pop music, they started to experiment with their own tracks -Happiness with Samantha Boni- who collaborated sometimes with Off Limits and me in particular, "Shock", a political parody, "Another Shock" with Draker, and then brought me into the fold for studio assistance, writing and finally recording.
Two lovely and slightly quirky results are included in this collection: "Cheerio! (Knock Back A Pint)" and "Driving Home" - a nod to the 80's feel with a fabulous mix by Mark Hoogkamer.
Iker is a Spanish oboe player, actor and singer with diplomas in modern song, interpretation and theatre. He has worked as a vocal coach and is part of the very successful vocal group Demode Quartet.
Iker is unstoppable though! He's been involved in film festivals, an Instagram musical series and featured in television's "La Voz" with Luis Fonsi and TVE's "Great Musical Challenge".
He Is also a fan !!! I couldn't resist calling him and asking him to duet on this most beautiful version of "You Could Be The End" and he said yes immediately!
Iker, your lyrics and great voice are a huge enhancement to this heartfelt and uplifting ballad... thank you so much for singing with me! xxx
KEN STEWART
I first met German producer Ken in Rotterdam after he drove for more than 3 hours to hook up and talk about music. He brings loads of entHusiasm and fresh ideas to both new and revisited tracks but is always very open to ideas from others - a great work ethic...
Apart from collaborating with EuroDance Vibes he has also worked on countless projects before and since. He remixed "Ring My BelL" which was a big success for me originally back in 2000. and it met with much approval.! Ken is a very clever producer, finding new and uplifting sounds to tracks with a 90's feel and you can hear that in the numerous eurodance vibes tracks he's worked on.

LINDA ROCCO
When I first met Linda in Frankfurt it was like I'd known her for ages... very bubbly and full of anecdotes - great company!
But there is so much more to Linda. She's had an incredible career so far and certainly shows no sign of stopping!
Starting from the 80's she's collaborated on a mind blowing amount of pop, trance and dance music, both as main vocalist with Masterboy and dance 2 trance as well as quality backing singer to the likes of Milli Vanilli, MichaeL jackson and La Bouche. her twin sister Jody also sang with her.
Apart from her ongoing solo career Linda also runs the vocal school "Scream Factory" together with her husband George LiSzt.
MARCELLO
Marcello... you must be one of the first people from "abroad" taking notice of my musical escapades. i fondly remember that you sent me copies of your "i venti d'azzurro" chart, where my picture featured on the front page!
MAY BAX produced his first track "Love Me In The Space" in the early 90's which was included on many compilations. working with Alex Perkovic and Davide Marsilio led to publications on the Bologna label Expanded Music. with longtime friend Frank Among he produced "Happiness" with Samantha Boni. later work for Off Limits and X-Energy resulted in "Superman" by "The Kryptones" and "Oh My My" Again with Samantha, where our freindship started!
you being a fervent supporter of italo disco and eurobeat, i could not have had met a better friend at the time. By now we have met many times. We are the best of friends AND I'm sure we'll continue to be for a long time.
It was only fitting to ask you to participate on this album, which is all about friendship and reflecting. You did a great job on "the party", which is all i want to do when i hear this song!

MYKOTANK
The first time i got in touch with mykotank was when recording the track "it's My life" with ZoOom. that turned out so well that i had to get know this russian guy better!
Mykotank is exceptionally talented and gets exactly what made the 90's eurodance sound so special that it's remembered fondly even today. and guess what: mykotank is using actual hardware synths!
His latest claim to fame is the wonderful"90's Vibe E.P." on eurodance vibes, featuring tracks by Linda Rocco, Nick da palma, shU da kid, and me!
i am looking forward to many more great songs with you at the wheel my friend!
NU.MA Or Nunzio Marzulli is a lovely fresh talent - I guess what breathes freshness into his tracks is his exceptional voice which obviously he'd shrug off!
Nu.Ma. Has been in the business since 2005 and now owner of Recobit Studios in Bari. as composer,author and arranger he works closely with Pirmaut and Wilk Dukster.
After "Closer" with Asya Giordano in 2022 and "My Way" in 2023 he heard the track "You Could Be The End" Written by Will dukster and me, and asked if he could have a go at it. AMAZING, HEART RENDING I say and so the track was elaborated and here we are!!
So glad you did Nu.Ma. And expect loads of calls from me in the future!
PARADISO 'DISO' GILIOLI
an often unsung hero in dance and pop music, collaborating on many Italo disco hits including JD JABER in the 80's. Drummer, writer and startlingly good vocalist, we collaborated on countless tracks during the 90's. WE ENJOYED DOING COVER VERSIONS BOTH IN THE STUDIO AND ON OUR FAMOUS PIANO BAR EVENINGS. SO MUCH FUN!
Diso just had to be on this album so he wrote this fitting track for us both, marking the continuation of a most extraordinary friendship spanning 35 years and still going strong!

PIRMAUT
At the end of his day Pirmaut creeps downstairs into his studio and switches on the magic! His work with NU.MA has produced excellent tracks such as "My Way", which was included often in the Dutch "I Venti D'Azzurro" playlist. Maury as we call him is incredibly generous - nothing is ever too much! Even when I call him to say I'm not totally happy with a track, I need to add some other vocals, he"s there as well as friend and fellow producer Will Dukster.
We met when Will and Pirmaut had expressed a desire to meet up and be introduced...maybe we can "come for a quick coffee" they said! From that day - and big lunch with other friends - we've been the best of pals with a great deal of esteem for each other - and I'm both proud and delighted to have him on this collection!
POCHO
A regular all rounder is Pocho, both for his undeniable composing talent and the way he plays his guitars. He has the magical curiosity of a child and the patience of a monk. We were also born in the same year!! Marco hit gold -but worked hard for it- when he started to work with Larry Pignagnoli and Theo Spagna at the time session playing was a must., that's also when i appeared on the scene!
Writing the first two albums "Dreams" and "so Alive" with Pocho was so quick and so easy! Moving on, Pocho became Pochill with his lounge style music in which I collaborated with "Sound Of he Sea" and "a Long Way To go". Now this great track only affirms my great respect for Marco as an artist and as a generally special person ...
RAZ NITZAN
before actually meeting, I was told about Raz Nitzan that he was one of the leading trance producers with "only" 400,000 Youtube followers, highly professional and had an ear of gold. Yes, I had a melody and lyrics but I was so nervous - also cos the track was full of really high notes.
What I wasn't told is that Raz is one of the nicest, kindest and attentive people I know...it took time for me to relax cos there I was, singing with a producing legend, but that soon slipped away.
The result is this amazing track "ALONE" so very uplifting, and full of belting high notes.
Up to now we've worked together on about five pieces, all exquisitely produced.

Samus produced the first release on the eurodance vibes label and by now is a wonderful friend besides BEING one of our most productive collaborators.
THIS AUSTRALIAN SUPERSTAR IS an excellent writer and producer. his musical knowledge of eurodance, 90's music and even italo disco is unparallelled. Mash-ups and megamixes are his jam!
I can't talk about samus without mentioning his sense of humour which is as silly as the Entire eurodance vibes team combined. sometimes i have to wade through pages of jokes before finding something work related, which says a lot about how close we are.
Sandro has been part of my career practically since day one! Songwriter, producer and arranger - he was the guy who accompanied me on the piano when I had to audition for eurobeat magicians Giancarlo Pasquini and Gino Caria from A.Beat-C He co-wrote tracks for Ken Laszlo and also worked with Time Records and Memory Records.
Always the silent and gentle type his ideas are suprising and fresh. Sandro has been credited with nearly a thousand tracks and THAT'S just the published ones!
"Rockin' Chair" is one of the many tracks we worked on together but never got round to finalising. i'm glad it finally found a home!
SANDY CHAMBERS
Sandy has given her incredible vocal talent to a mind boggling number of smash hits and projects over the years: Double You, NetzwErk and Benny Benassi to name but three, as well as being a backing singer to numerous Italian stars like Venditti, Zucchero and Giorgia.
love you samus! all of us!
Any track in the 90s with her voice was a guarantee of big success! We've worked together a few times - often with Dhany and mostly when we were at Off Limits and she's always been a great friend and colleague.
Sandy also founded the singing academy "Vocal Project" in her hometown of Brescia. We try to meet up regularly, whether it's for lunch together or on stage in some part of the world, and I'm proud and happy to say that she's a dear friend!
STAY-C
STAY-C AND I Both started our careers in the early 90's, but strangely we never met in real life! he was of course a major star as part of the 'twenty 4 seven' project. He is an excellent writer, rapper and still performs at the best and biggest festivals.
My first single for the eurodance vibes label was "can't stop", produced by samus jay. Stay-C provided the excellent rap parts. We even recorded footage for the accompanying vide0, while being on different sides of the planet. It was the perfect example of collaborating on every leveL!
After two later christmas singles with Stay-C, it's about time we join forces again!

TESH
Tairov Eldar Shamil aka TESH is a talented DJ and music producer from Russia. He has so far written or produced a number of great tracks where he finds his comfort zone in deephouse, dance and eurodance genres.
As I AM well known for being a fan of melody and harmony, I found the track "Not About You" very appealing...the chorus takes you away while the soft spoken lyrics gently tell you the naked truth!
TESH experiments with various sounds - even to the point of giving each piece a near three dimEnsional aspect, making his tracks almost theatrical!
Great stuff TESH!
VEELANTYNE
Veelantyne has been a producer and DJ for many years, and was one of the earliest contributors to this album.
his instrumental track was intended as a remix of "2 times" at first, but its summery vibe inspired me to turn it into a different song entirely.
I really hope this song will take you to a happy place. a place where you can leave your worries behind, watching the horizon over the sea, feet in the sand, and in the company of someone you love.
or alone, which can be just as satisfying!

VINCENZO & riCcardo
From our first success "Bee in My Bonnet" back in 1994 we had always promised that we'd do another track together. Many years of amazing friendship have brought us to the making of "SORRY", a return to music for 'Pinto' -as I call him- together with reknowned composer, musician and sound artisan Riccardo Nanni.
Riccardo is hugely talented in all genres of music. He's behind the international smash hit "Mueve La Colita" but he mostly dedicates his talents to post production and compositions for documentaries, video games and shorts. His great pal Vincenzo has a full day job, a beautiful family and a never ending passion for music! With "SORRY" we've kept our promise Pinto!!! xxx
As I see it, the third part of the fabulous trio - Yet another man here for the music! WilL actually started out in 2001 with a remix of Morricone's "For a Fistful Of Dollars", achieving great success and popularity as a DJ which continued with his 2003 remix of "Every Breath You Take".
His forte however has always been the world of trance with tracks such as "Renegade" and "Gravity Of Love" through to Critical Uprising 2023 to the latest collaboratioN with our own "Re:Mark" this year with "Libra". I really admire his artistic flexibility.
"You Could Be The End" was written by WilL as a trance piece but he could also see the potential in a different arrangement .

ZOOOM
Zooom aka michael priestas is an American rapper and one of the most productive guys in the eurodance scene for the past few years.
One of his first successes was when his hit "party in here" entered the top 10 of the billboard charts in 2013.
Later he worked with 20 fingers, double pulse and eurotronic, keeping the eurodance flame burning.
We both featured as writers and vocalists on the eurodance vibes single "it's my life" which was produced by our mutual friend mykotank. i still adore this track and it just had to be on this album!
