In the last couple of years, despite COVID’s best shot, Eurolinx has gone from strength to strength and the company is expanding. We’ve had lots of new recruits over the last few months, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience. It’s with great pleasure that we introduce you the latest Eurolinx newbies.
DEE RACE WA SHOWROOM MANAGERJoining the Eurolinx team in April, Dee was formerly a Winning Appliances Product Expert in Perth, bringing with her an incredible amount of industry knowledge and experience.
When Dee isn’t seamlessly running the showroom, she likes to spend her off time with her completely nonidentical twin girls, cycling around the beautiful Swan River, swimming, walking her two black and white Cavoodles and exploring live music venues and trying new dining spots on the hunt for some of her favourite dishes, like linguine marinara, veal scallopini with mushroom sauce and Oysters…YUM!
Having previously worked as a medical industry administrator, Shanya decided to jump ship and change it up to the luxury appliances world at Eurolinx, 3 months ago.
Shayna lives in Rydalmere NSW and loves reading books, listening to music and cooking her favourite dish, butter chicken, for her chef husband (no pressure!) and her 3-year-old son.
Angela has had a long career in the communications industry, from marketing and PR to events and media. Angela has worked for the likes of Delicious Magazine, various Sydney restaurants, UMM and she personally handled Jamie Oliver’s social PR schedule on 3 of Jamie’s Sydney tours. Eurolinx has a long history with Angela, starting back in 2007 and has continued throughout the years, working on various projects together. Outside of work, Angela is raising her two young boys, Abel (6) and Teo (3.5). When she isn’t busy running her kids to swimming lessons, jujitsu, nippers, birthday parties and school, Angela enjoys long walks on the beach…JUSSSST KIDDING! But really, she likes her downtime to involve good food (not just eating her kid’s scraps) topped off with a Negroni, or two! 3 weeks in, Angela is very happy to be part of the Eurolinx team, and after a 15-year relationship, it seems to have been the natural evolution for both parties.
Marina is the newest Commercial Sales Administrator at Eurolinx and is based in the NSW office. Previously Marina worked in a sales-based roles and with Winning Appliances as their Front Admin.
Marina lives in Homebush and in her spare time she likes to go to the beach, park and do some exercise! She has a kitten named Hazel, who enjoys giving Marina a hard time! Favourite meal is Italian pasta, with some bruschetta and cheesy garlic bread!
Located in the QLD Cooparoo Office, whilst living on the Gold Coast, Jess previously worked at Metricon Homes as a Building Support Coordinator. This gave her an insight into what the builders must have organised and needed to handle, day-to-day. Prior to that she was at Harvey Norman Commercial QLD for 5 years, as the Estimating Team Leader for Residential Housing. Including both Harvey Norman Commercial & Retail she has an overall industry experience of 11 years.
Jess loves watching sports and spending time with her friends, family, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
After a lot of umming and ahhing, we made the difficult decision to close our old Melbourne showroom, in Camberwell, during COVID.
After nearly 2 years of not having a showroom, we signed a new lease in February 2022. We are proud to announce that the new showroom, located in Hawthorn, has been open since the end of September 2022.
It’s very true when ‘they’ say location is everything. We are strategically located in between the triangle of E&S, Hawthorn, Harvey Norman, Richmond and Winning Appliances, Richmond, a 5-minute drive to each of these retailers.
We are also located below a luxury apartment block of approximately 30 apartments and our neighbour is an architect, who we are fostering a working relationship with, and we are already seeing the fruits of this relationship!
In July 2022, the Euro Cucina returned for the first time since 2018. An event held in Milan, usually every 2 years is used as a platform for European appliance manufactures to launch their upcoming products. Eurolinx deals with many manufacturers in Europe, and this was a great opportunity for us to reconnect with our partners after an ‘interesting’ 2 years. As part of the exhibition, ILVE held a distributors dinner where Tristan and Daniel had the chance to meet ILVE distributors from all around the world – this was a first time experience for us where we were able to learn about different country trends and gave us a great insight into the different markets worldwide.
ILVE’s Live, Cook, Love identity was formally launched, and we got to meet Ruth and Andrea – with Eurolinx hosting exclusive sessions with Harvey Norman, Winnings and E&S in the ILVE cooking theatre. They were treated to a live cooking demonstration as well as an intimate viewing of the latest products which will hit the Australian market soon, such as the 90cm pyrolytic cooker, 120cm cooker with 7 zone induction and the Panoramagic built-in range.
Eurolinx partners; ILVE, Fhiaba, Meneghetti, Galvamet and Vestel, were all exhibiting at the exhibition showcasing their latest innovations, products and concepts for the forthcoming 24 months.
After Euro Cucina, management from Winnings had the opportunity to visit to the factories of Meneghetti and ILVE where they received a guided tour of the manufacturing facilities of both companies. It was also
great to see the factory upgrades from both companies and gain a better understanding of how they have adopted and pivoted to life after COVID
On the 11th of October Eurolinx hosted a Fhiaba Product Experts Workshop at our Sydney Showroom. With over 20 Winning staff from New South Wales and A.C.T including both Retail and A&D team members Jayden Thomas and Paul Kim delivered a 2-hour workshop that involved team based activities, researching Fhiaba as a company, as a brand, as well as familiarising attendees with the Fhiaba product and technology feature offering. Working in groups, the session was engaging and required each team member to lean on their research skills, experience with food and wine preservation appliances, and problem solving with a customer focused approach to building conversations around our Fhiaba brand and products.
Jayden and Paul will head to Melbourne in early November to deliver the Fhiaba workshop to Victorian based Winning staff members.
Earlier in October, along with other industry heavy weights, Vince from the NSW Commercial team was fortunate enough to be invited to this one-of-a-kind wine and dining experience. Local and acclaimed chef, Frank (formerly from Bistecca) opened the doors to his new restaurant, Francobollo Haberfield, for a sneak peek and VIP night, ahead of the venue’s official opening on the 1st of November. He and his team cooked an array of dishes to compliment the wines brought by the attending guests. What an honour and experience!
12 Harvey Norman Commercial staff members from Somersby, braved the M3 down to Sydney for an exclusive experience hosted by the NSW Commercial team for an authentic ILVE evening. The event was held at the Eurolinx NSW showroom, followed by the Sydney Seafood School.
Daniel Bertuccio, Eurolinx Marketing Manager, kicked off the night with a presentation all about the company and our brands, featuring the design your ILVE platform and ARTUSI outdoor Living configurator. This was followed by our ‘touch and feel’ showroom walkthrough. The highlight was our stunning Agency freestanding and built-in products. We then treated our guests to a private evening at the Sydney Seafood School where we demonstrated cooking with the highly respected ILVE quality, and the best bit, eating all the delicious dishes, after!
It hasn’t been the most eventful last 3 months (workwise) up here in Queensland, as we’ve all had a bit of time off for Illness, family and personal reasons. But we did manage to squeeze in a lot of Fhiaba training at both Winnings Fortitude Valley and Indooroopilly. With the new Fhiaba displays in each store now we’ve done 8 training sessions over the last 2 months.
A big SHOUT OUT goes to Courtney Ashworth who took the lead in these Fhiaba training sessions, which have already converted into some big sales.
We also managed to get an ILVE Showroom training session in with the Winnings sales staff. Not as many sessions as we’d like for the period, but as you can see from the photos a great time was had.
Eurolinx have recently won the Maher Corp business and had the key stakeholders of their business through the showroom for a Eurolinx presentation as well as sales product training. We had 5 sessions which included the sales teams, design team, colour room consultants and other key people.
Maher Corp consists of 3 separate businesses:
Urbanedge Homes – Caters for the second and third home buyer in greenfield estates as well as knockdown rebuilds. ILVE 90cmm inbuilt product is their standard inclusion and generate over 350 homes per annum.
8 Homes – Caters for investment and first home buyers in greenfield estates. Artusi 90cm upright package is their standard inclusion and they generate over 800 homes per annum.
Dwell & Co. – Caters for the high-end builds with building contracts over $1million +. ILVE is their standard inclusion and will be utilising our showroom in Hawthorn for their high-end clients.

In July, we also had the pleasure of hosting Alberto, Antonio and Gianluigi from ILVE for the first time since November 2019. The trip was an extremely productive one with the ILVE crew visiting various stores in Sydney as well as a tour of the Winning Group DC in Rouse Hill and tours of E&S Flagship Prestons location culminating with a visit to what is now the Melbourne Showroom and some chicken parmigiana’s at a local Melbourne watering hole. In other ILVE news, they announced to us the opening of their first American showroom, a 120 sq metre space in 5th avenue New York.

It is with this in mind we have partnered with the OurRustica B&B couple Ruth & Andrea. Ruth, once a fashion executive at Benetton in London and Andrea, a former corporate accountant now an authentic traditional and regional Italian chef, grew tired of the hustle and bustle of big city living, retreating to the Italian countryside to pursue their dream lifestyle and boy does it truly embody ‘la dolce vita’!
The idea of OurRustica was born from wanting to be together and to create a space where they could be happy and welcome guests to share their journey. They were ready to trade in the highflyer lifestyle they once lived, for that of simplicity, value, land, sea and love.
So, the search for the perfect sustainable home began. After many years, they finally found the home that left them both saying, “questo e’! this is it”.
When they found OurRustica, it was completely run down, uninhabitable and overgrown. With no roof, running water, or electricity, it was essentially a blank canvas in which they were able to work with to create a truly gorgeous, rustic haven.
The couple began their OurRustica journey by stepping out of their comfort zones, learning to build, work with wood and concrete and soon, their dream soon turned into a reality…their reality.
Establishing an Italian cookery school and retreat, hidden in the woods between Venice and the Dolomites in the Land of Prosecco, Ruth and Andrea created a little piece of Italian paradiso for themselves to reside and for guests to escape to. Showing a different way of life, a way where nature and living off the land is at its heart, the couple share their passion for traditional Italian cuisine through the experience.
Ruth and Andrea went to ILVE’s factory to get a first-hand look at the ILVE world: this turned out to be a crucial moment since they were able to find their new cooker and, most importantly, met with the Illiotti and Berno families, who share the same values, forging a special bond.
Collaborating with ILVE, Ruth and Andrea share their favourite recipes and stories so that those of us who aren’t lucky enough to escape to Italy can join in on culinary masterclass! Using their Nostalgie series cooker, which complements the rustic but stunning aesthetic of their B&B perfectly, the couple shares a unique perspective of authentic Italian living.
This year we partnered with Winning Appliances and supplied two houses with ILVE and Fhiaba appliances. This was a great marketing and branding opportunity, exposing our brands to a mass audience in a prime time TV setting. We took the opportunity to feature our custom range of appliances using the metallic finish Fhiaba fridges and custom colour ILVE cookers. House 1 featuring M15 and set of Fhiaba copper colour finishes, won ‘kitchen week’ with Tom and Sarah-Jane at the helm, which was great for increasing our brand exposure.
In the month of October, Daniel, Jayden and Nathan were invited by Winning Appliances to view The Block, with a personal tour from Block judge, Darren Palmer, who mentioned he was going to be renovating his own house soon.
If you didn’t know, which is nearly impossible, it’s everyone’s favourite Kiwi, Will’s birthday on 28th October Happy Birthday, Big Fella!
We would like to take the opportunity to send our well wishes to Che, who has recently undergone major back surgery.
Che is doing well, recovering and will be back in action in January!!
