Celebration of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month Concert in London The Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month organisers and Roma Support Group have the pleasure to invite you to an event as part of the first national Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month on Wednesday 4th June 6pm—10pm at Conway Hall 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1. Performances by the Orchard Family, Brigid Corcoran, Romani Rad and Gejza Grundza With guest speaker the Hon. Ian Hancock, Member, International Roma Parliament, Director, The Romani Archives and Documentation Center at the University of Texas. Photo Exhibition by Zsuzsanna Ardó, Dedicated to Pál Ardó How Long Is the Journey is a selection from the exhibition of photos of Hungarian Roma (Gypsies) by Zsuzsanna Ardó a photographer and writer. Zsuzsanna took the photos over the past two summers in Hungary, by the Danube and in Budapest. www.ardo.org Positive Portraits Collection of photos by Patricia Knight Some of the photos displayed are of Gypsies and Travellers at the 2007 Romani Roots Festival at the Weald and Downland museum in Singleton, Traveller families enjoying Watton Horse Fair, which happens in Norfolk every May, and families at Dale farm, Billericay Essex patricia@grthm.co.uk Door open at 6pm, start at 6.30pm.
