The business was started by Eric and Janet Thornborough with the vision to sell quality wood stains, decorative timber coatings and preservatives. The result was a range of products that offered great coverage, were effective and long lasting and were kind to the environment.

Today the same environmental values are at the heart of the business. All the paints are water based contain low VOC (Volatile organic compounds), low odour, low toxicity. All the products are non-flammable and safe to use for exterior cladding on buildings. As it is water -based it is child, pet, bird, bee, and plant friendly, allowing you to paint with total confidence and peace of mind. The packaging has been refined to ensure that the materials used are recycled and that the tins can be recycled too.
