Andersons Wholesale has always been a family run business offering a friendly, personal and professional service.

In the 1970s Betty and her husband were successful shop owners in Milton Keynes and in the early 1980s they moved to Norfolk and managed a busy Post Office in the village of Kenninghall. After one of their suppliers announced their retirement in 1984, Betty bought the supplier’s wholesale business and Andersons Wholesale was established. After moving to the small village of Barnham in Norfolk, Betty and her son Paul expanded the wholesale van sales business, supplying shops as far as the North Norfolk and Suffolk coast, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Bedfordshire.

In the early 2000’s, as the business was rapidly expanding, Paul’s wife Sue, son Nick and Nick’s partner Michelle joined Andersons. A few years later they expanded again, this time virtually, launching their website www. andersonswholesale.co.uk. The internet was revolutionary, - the range could expand, new items could be offered, new suppliers could be found, and new ideas could flourish. This is where their hugely popular service of prewrapped grotto toys began and their grotto toys website www.wrappedgrottotoys.co.uk was also launched.

After training many highly skilled inhouse wrappers, Andersons quickly became the

UK’s leading suppliers of wrapped gifts, supplying garden centres, hotels, pub chains, shopping centres and visitor attractions.

Nearly 40 years after Betty started the family business, they are now based in the Norfolk town of Thetford - dubbed ‘the Norfolk Pole’ by an ITV reporter when she filmed for a local news report at the warehouse!

The core family run values have remained - always providing great service and great products.

Paul and Sue’s other son Matt joined the business in 2015 and they now employ over 20 members of staff.
