Briarlands Farm
Here at Briarlands Farm we have a wide range of things to keep your wee ones entertained!
Based on a working farm, we have a variety of play equipment to suit all ages from jumping pillows to football golf, play frames or whizzing around on our go-karts.

Our tractor trailer rides will take you behind the scenes on the farm where you can see our cattle and learn a bit more about the work we do at the farm.
As well as our livestock we have a host of other farm animals looking forward to meet you including alpacas, donkeys, a Shetland Pony, sheep, goats, Highland cows, pigs, ducks and hens. Little ones that want to get up close and personal with the animals can purchase bags of feed for just 50p!
For those that prefer more domesticated small creatures we have a range of guinea pigs and rabbits available to cuddle or stroke at our animal handling sessions. These happen periodically throughout the day and are a great opportunity to get a hands-on experience.
If you visit us this Spring you may even spot some babies in the park - most importantly our lambs! During Easter the amazing experience of bottle feeding our lambs is available and not to be missed!
If you’re needing to refuel, our on-site Farmer’s Den Café serves light lunches, coffee and delicious home baking all made on the premises. There’s even a small soft play frame that’s free to use suitable for children up to the age of seven.
Planning a trip in the summer months? Here at Briarlands we grow our own strawberries and from roughly the start of
June you are able to venture into our strawberry tunnels and pick your own.
Briarlands Strawberries are special as they are grown in polytunnels on wires at waist height, making them far easier to pick. The advantages of this method are – no aching backs, no slugs or dirty berries and no need for spraying for mould (botrytis). Our strawberries can also be picked whatever the weather – a great advantage here in Scotland!
There’s no need to book online to visit us, but if you do – tickets are 10% cheaper than if you were to walk in and pay at the door.
We even offer annual memberships meaning you can visit us as many times as you like in the year for a discounted rate! In season we’re open 7 days a week 10am – 5:30pm.
For more information you can visit our website at www.briarlandsfarm.co.uk
If you keep an eye on our website or social media you can keep up to date with any news or special events we may have. This year we plan to have two “Tractor Weekends” where we will have all the vehicles that make Briarlands special out on display in the field for young and old to explore and learn more about.
Perfect for “tractor mad” little ones!
Dates are still to be confirmed and more events are still to be announced!
We even offer two birthday packages if you’re planning on making your kids’ birthday extra special.
Our indoor package includes a personal tractor ride for your party, a personal animal handling session and a special party picnic box for guests to enjoy.
Our outdoor package is more of a DIY party and is held in our ThunderDome Tunnel. You supply the food and decoration – we supply hours of fun in the funyard!
Briarlands opened to the public as an attraction in 2006 with nothing but some wooden sheds, portable toilets, and a marquee. Our philosophy was simple;
“Family Fun in the Fresh Air”.
While our philosophy remains the same we are thankful to have grown into the attraction we now are and hope to keep growing and expanding so we can continue to make Briarlands a great day out for all the family.
