SKI WEEK Primary Year 5 and Year 6

Each year, since its very first days, EISB has offered the much-awaited Semana Blanca or Ski Week

This activity provides another opportunity for our students to take a step forward, towards personal growth

Skiing, as an outdoor activity allows us to enjoy direct contact with nature and during this week, our students can enjoy it with their classmates and teachers in both a fun and recreational manner as well as learn survival techniques, navigation, scavenger hunts, etc

Spending time together opens the door for them to get to know other classmates in their accommodation, in the ski lessons or in the afternoon activities

This is also a unique opportunity for us, teachers, to learn about our students in a new context, and the relationships that are established after this week are very enhanced

Moreover, due to the characteristics of the sport, students are required to assume the responsibility of practising it safely and comfortably (wearing gloves, helmets, sunscreen, buckling up appropriately) and the autonomy of our students is accelerated in just a week

After 26 years, I can attest that we are already waiting for the next school year so that we can enjoy this activity once again!
