Charlas sobre el Desarrollo Afectivo y Sexual

Just like every year, the talks on Affective and Sexual Development have taken place, coordinated by the Psychopedagogical Office in collaboration with our nurse Cintia and the Mossos d'Esquadra The topics covered in each Secondary school year were as follows: review of the physical changes explained is Primary feelings and emotions growing up, hygiene, self-image physiological differences, complexes, acceptance respect and self-esteem academic objectives, maturity and motivation hobbies and interests parent-child relationships when growing up roles, values and ideals review physical and emotional changes during adolescence discuss living together: friendship, empathy, peer pressure, assertiveness falling in love, love and sexuality self-respect and respect for others as a means to avoid abuse or aggression, physical, psychological and virtual Concepts such as grooming, sexting and cyberbullying (also covered in the talks given in the Primary and Secondary School about safety on the internet)

Secondary Year 1 - "Emotional changes in adolescence I".

Secondary Year 2 - "Emotional changes in adolescence II".

Secondary Year 3 - “Social Emotional Learning and Sexuality Education I”

As a starting point, we will review some of the points dealt with in previous years, then we will go on to issues related to: sexuality, respect and consent other issues related to sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy, addressing these issues on a physical and emotional level, as well as from an educational and scientific point of view

Secondary Year 4 and Baccalaureate Year 1 - “Social Emotional Learning and Sexuality Education II” the importance of consent respect in all types of relationships implications, responsibilities and legal consequences of aggression examples provided by the Mossos d' Esquadra

The students were attentive, interested and participative, because these are important topics that also concern them For this reason, it is necessary to approach them with respect and with a sense of normality, as they often receive information through different media and the children are not always mature enough to comprehend At this age, they are also still developing their personalities and they need to feel loved and supported in the changes they are experiencing and the doubts they may have We would also like to congratulate them for the maturity and respect they showed during the talks
