Who we are EUROPASS Centro Studi Europeo is a School of Language and Culture, and a Vocational Training Organization accredited by the Regional Council of Tuscany, based in Florence, Italy. Since 1992, the institute has been dedicated to the teaching of Italian language and culture, as well as building on teachers’ professional skills.

With approximately 30 collaborators, every year the institute welcomes around 600 students of Italian language and culture and approximately 700 teachers from all over the world who attend our teacher training courses.

The EUROPASS Teacher Training School is specialized in planning and providing educational courses and activities for teachers from Europe and around the world. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, the centre plans and organizes customized courses for schools and institutes specifically designed to suit their staff professional needs. Our main training centre is in Florence (Italy), most of the courses are offered also in other locations such as Barcelona, Berlin, Dublin and Nafplio.

All of our trainers are specialists in their field and from various nationalities and backgrounds

We assist in organising your travel experience abroad (incl. accommodation, free time activities, etc.)

We assist you in applying for Erasmus+ funding for teacher development courses in various EU countries

All the course are offered in English. Courses in French, Italian and Spanish are available upon request.

2 Week ICT Course: How to use Educational Apps and Social Media in your Classroom

This course is designed for teachers who would like to experiment new, easy and enjoyable tools to use with their students. Participants will learn how to properly integrate apps and social technology in the classroom as a tool to support learning.

2 week course: Social Media and Web Solutions

In this 2 week course, participants will learn how to incorporate technology into their lessons. Emphasis will be placed on the most popular social media, as well as on modern teaching platforms and Web based solutions.

The Flipped Classroom

It is a new method of teaching that turns the traditional classroom ‘upside down’. How does it work? Before a module starts, students autonomously analyse educational materials (short online lessons, videos, podcasts, etc.) at home. In class, participants focus on exercises, projects or discussions.

Main Course Locations Florence This city is the capital of the Italian region of Tuscany and is widely considered to be the birthplace of the Renaissance. As a result, it hosts some of the world’s best museums and art galleries showcasing the city’s history. Well known for its rich culture and important historical ďŹ gures, this city is high up on every traveler's must-see list.


Barcelona

It is the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia and it is the second most populous municipality in Spain after Madrid. As well as being considered one of the culture capitals of Europe, it also oers a Mediterranean climate and a collection of some of the best museums and galleries in the world.


Dublin

The Republic of Ireland’s capital city is a modern, thriving, affluent, and youthful European city. As Joyce, Yeats, Swift, and their modern counterparts have eloquently demonstrated, every corner pub, emerald green, and Georgian square of Ireland’s largest city holds a story waiting to be shared. Well known for its alcoholic beverages and friendly atmosphere, even though the weather might not be idyllic, it is a city worth visiting.


Berlin Berlin is a vibrant city, combining the signs of its signiďŹ cant history, with a present made of world-renowned universities, orchestras, museums and entertainment venues. The city is well known for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife, contemporary arts and a high quality of living. It is a very green city: 1/3 of the city is made up of forests, parks, gardens rivers and lakes, where Berliners as well as the tourists enjoy the contact with nature all year around.


Nafplio It is one of the most beautiful towns in the area of the Argolis Gulf in eastern Peloponnese as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece. Most of the old town is on a peninsula which forms a natural protected bay. It was the ďŹ rst capital of the Greek state between 1823 and 1834. According to mythology, the town was founded by NĂĄfplios, the son of god Poseidon and the daughter of Danaus (Danaida) Anymone.
