One to One meetings during Producers On The Move 2014
Programme of the European Union
KEEP ON MOVING
PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE is back in Cannes with a group of 20 emerging European producers bringing them together for networking and promotion opportunities. Unlike previous years, the 16th edition of the initiative is presenting a selected and smaller group of producers, which, I believe, will enhance the outcome for the participants. Since 2000, a large number of PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE have collaborated on European coproductions and their network now numbers more than 320 producers from 35 European countries.
The programme runs from May 15 to 18 and European Film Promotion (EFP) will create a highly focused working environment, including project pitching, one-to-one meetings, a case study, and social events as well as extensive promotion of the producers through profiles in the international trade papers. We would like to express our warmest thanks to the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union for its ongoing financial support of this initiative. We would also like to thank Eurimages for its continuing support. We are pleased to be able to present this talented group of producers and believe that many of them will soon become international players. Christian Juhl Lemche EFP President, May 2015
3
EFP’s activities are financially supported by the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the EU and the EFP member organisations. In addition, PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE is supported by Eurimages and Film- und Medienstiftung NRW. EFP is supported by
project partners
4
The aim of PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE is to assist European producers in finding partners for their upcoming projects, to strengthen industry networking opportunities and to offer a platform where the producer’s potential can be recognised. Event activities in Cannes, May 15 – 18, 2015 » round-table meeting / pitching session for all selected producers » one-to-one speed-dating meetings between the participating producers » case study on a European co-production » cocktail for current and former PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE » production of a brochure and a poster » press campaign including producer profiles in major daily trade papers » online presentation of participating producers Mikołaj Pokromski Pokromski Studio, Poland, participant in 2014
“It is a great honour to be a part of the PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE family and an exceptional opportunity for building lasting relationships with upcoming producers and professionals from all over the Europe.”
