Paris is the perfect escape for romance and culture. This winter and spring, museums abound with great exhibits such as Gallery-owner, editor photo-grapher and collector, Stieglitz who introduced Americans to Cezanne, Rodin, Picasso, Matisse and Brancusi. Stiegliz contributed to the revival American art by promoting the work of American modernist painters and photographers, from Hartley to Georgia O'Keeffe. The Musee d’Orsay devotes this first exhibition in France to him, giving us the opportunity to get to know this key figure with his insatiable curiosity.; also visible for the first time for the occasion of the bicentennial of Napoleon’s coronation, this exceptional private collection invites visitors to share the private life of the Emperor through unseen objects from his life and a collection of stunning decorative arts.
