MAD MORPHEUS The MAD Morpheus series has been developed for demanding carp anglers who do not want to make any compromise when choosing a rod. These rods have more guides than most carp rods to make better use of the blank and cast greater distances. All Morpheus rods are equipped with a lightweight aluminum ALPS reelseat that can easily hold big pit reels. The design is very basic with no unnecessary features. The two-piece handle is made of Japanese EVA and is tapered, allowing the blank to do its job all the way to the butt end. Already in the first week of testing these beauties landed two carp well over 50lb. Since then the guys from the MAD team are completely convinced of these powerhouses.

D-FENDER2 How to improve something that already is near to perfect? This question we asked ourselves when starting to develop a brand new successor for our most popular MAD ® rod series D-Fender.-This name has established itself in the market and has become wellknown as a premium carp rod for a fair price. The most important improvements we achieved, was reducing the blank diameter significantly and giving it an extremely fast action for rods in this price range. Next to that we gave it an even more exclusive appearance with a moulded line clip, woven carbon reel seat spacer and smart looking japanese shrink wrapping around the handle. Also the artwork of the rods has been kept to the ab-solute minimum, with the small D-Fender2 logo positioned on the side of the rear grip part! They have been manaufactured out of robust TC 24 D carbon and equipped with oversized slim inlay SIC-guides that are well suitable for braided lines. The D-Fender2 rods are all light and thin carp rodswith enough backbone to fight any size carp and for extreme distance casting.

This lean mean transportation machine is the big brother of our extremely popular Car-Go barrow. Thanks to the tips of many MAD® fans out there, we became aware of the fact that we needed an even more robust version with a heavy duty frame and bigger heavy duty wheel. The MAD® Transformer Barrow is equipped with a big tractor-like wheel with the enormous diameter of 45 cm and a dirt-buster profile of 12 mm high! Although we kept the basic design of the frame the same as the legendary Car-Go, we

used reinforced steel to make it even stronger than it already was! During the development many international carp anglers were consulted and their requirements are reflected in this trolley. The side pockets were designed for transporting heavy stuff such as boilies, groundbait and beverages. No need to build high, wobbly towers that can tip the trolley over. The back pocket is meant for the safe

FSX INTELLIGENT TENT LAMP Another cool MAD® idea! At first glance this looks like an ordinarytent light, but it actually is a bivvy lamp and bite alarm receiver in one! Next to a set of 6 ultra-bright long-life LEDs, there is an adjust-able multicolor LED placed in the center. When using our brand new MAD® FSX alarms, the 6 LEDs switch on automatically whenever the alarm is activated by a biting fish! This is not all… the multi-color LED in the middle also lights up and corresponds with the color of the bite alarm that has just been activated. This way, your tent is illuminated when you have to go out and fight the fish. This saves you time when searching for your shoes and opening the tent. The series consists of 2 aircraft aluminium body versions in a fat and slim design, and an additional Feather Light slim body version that is made from rock hard ABS material. All hangers are equipped with a fantastic line clip that serves all types of fishing thanks to its unique double feature design. For normal, distance, or tight line fishing, use it as a “running” hanger where the top ball clip is resting on the line. For slack line fishing or when facing windy conditions, clip the line in the lower “gripper” part. The Graphite-Nylon material of the line clip is very line-friendly and the tightness of the clip can be adjusted by moving the rubber band up and down. The metal parts of the Insomnia hangers have an Anti-flare Gunsmoke finish for a subtle appearance. Feather light ABS version is finished with very elegant matt black rubber paint. The principle is not new and inspired by both saltwater and sturgeon fishing. While fishing for white sturgeon, the Canadians use women stockings and fill them up with salmon eggs to create attractive hookbait balls. MIMICRY 3D - DIGITAL CAMOUFLAGE The purpose of camouflage is „to disrupt an outline by merging it with its surroundings, making the person or object harder to identify, or to confuse and mislead its observer“. With this goal in mind, we have developed one of the most stunning looking and effective digital camouflage pattern family available on the market today that has unmatched camouflaging characteristics. This brand new generation of digital camouflage patterns is called “Mimicry”. The term Mimicry stands for the ability to blend in to the surroundings or to look similar to another organism. Think about this in the animal world where there are some great examples like chameleons and walking sticks. These animals attempt to “mimic” their environment in order to protect themselves from predators. That is why Mimicry is a perfect name for this new exciting camouflage! What is digital camouflage and what are the advantages over conventional camouflage? Traditional camouflage uses large life-like object patterns that are very clearly defined and

have sharp outlines. The technical term for these kinds of patterns is „macro-patterns“. Although these color patches represent parts of the surroundings, their clearly defined edges make them easier to see and they make the shape of the individual or object that needs to be camouflaged visible. To tackle these weak points of macro-patterns, the new generation camouflage uses so called micro-patterns. Thanks to the much smaller color patches and the „fading“ character of their outlines, the camouflage pattern and thus the person or object it needs to blend in the background is much harder to identify than when using conventional camouflage patterns. The term „digital camouflage“ refers to the way the colors and the patches are being positioned on the grid via a set of digitally defined coordinates. These coordinates have been carefully calculated and tested in the field to get the optimal distribution of colors and shapes. The 3D effect As opposed to the conventional camouflage that uses a two dimensional flat

representation of the natural surroundings, our new developed Mimicry 3D pattern uses a multi-layer print design that simulates natural 3D depth. Thanks to a carefully designed structure that took a long time to develop and test, the Mimicry 3D patterns successfully misleads to observer by making it hard to identify the objects distance and even its size! This principle has been borrowed from the „Dazzle Camouflage“ technique that has been used as long as 100 years ago in the military to make warships look further away and different in size than they actually were. The Dazzle camouflage technique itself was based on the pattern that can be found on Zebras. This asymmetrical black and white stripe pattern make it almost impossible for the observer to calculate the exact distance and size of the object or in this case Zebra. All in all, no matter if you want make yourself or any equipment nearly invisible for hunting or for fishing, the Mimicry 3D digital camouflage is the way to go!
