Day 1 Reception at Mataveri Airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Day 2 B L Visit to Rapa Nui National Park, Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, representing almost half of the island’s total area. we visit the Ruins of the Temple of Akahanga, famous for its legend about the King being buried in its ground, in addition for being a strategic astronomic point. Continue to Rano Raraku Volcano, area with the highest concentration of statues in the island and place where the moais used to be carved. Finally, Ahu Tongariki, the biggest ceremonial site in the island, where many of the huge moai were

destroyed by a large tsunami in 1960. The tour ends at Anakena which contains two ceremonial sites. Day 3 B The tour starts visiting Vinapu in order to continue to Ranu Kau, volcano of 310 MASL (1.017 ft), whih contains a huge crater of 1.6 km (1 mile) diameter and a 11 mt. deep (36 ft.) fresh water lagoon. Next to the volcano is the ancient ceremonial city of Orongo, area of the island where we can find the greatest concentration of petroglyphs. In the afternoon, excursion to Ahu Akivi, a ceremonial site which is particularly interesting not only because of its location in the centre of the island but also because of the legends about its Seven Moais. Then, we visit Puna Pau, located on the east side of Hanga Roas town, in a small red stone crater. Day 4 B At due time transfer to the airport. to keep in mind: The itinerary can be modified according to flights or weather conditions.
