MARBELLA City Council and the regional government of Andalucia have launched a joint project to assess a new car parking site in the Albergue África area.

Authorities announced they would start the process with the goal of creating a car park with 800­1,000 spaces at a meeting on Tuesday, February 7. City mayor, Ángeles Muñoz showed the council’s determination to see the project through, saying, “When this team says that we want to develop essential pieces of infrastructure for our city, we work hard to make it a reality.”

Speaking with the Minister for Infrastructure, Diego López and the Minister for Transport, Enrique Rodríguez, Muñoz said that a technical team could be authorised to arrive on site on Friday, February 10 to begin an initial assessment of the space.

Experts will need to take
