Mojacar new bus station

MOJACAR will connect its historic centre and the coast with its new bus station. This new infrastructure will have the capacity for four buses simultaneously and a small building. The Development delegate Carmen Belén López Zapata and the mayor of Mojacar Rosa María Cano visited the new facilities and highlighted the commitment the Andalucian government is showing the area of Mojacar with these new facilities.
The bus station, along with the four bus ports, will have bathroom facilities and a waiting area. This building will be on the ground floor for easier access and there will be a large canopy of modern design to shade the waiting areas at the bus ports. There will also be a taxi rank and an urban bus stop nearby.
Mojacar Town Hall will be in charge of the maintenance and management of the bus station. They hope this new bus station will im
ARCHEOLOGICAL fans will be delighted to hear the Museum Collection and the archaeological site ‘Barrio Andalusi’ has now been integrated at the Meson Gitano.
This is a space destined to become “a heritage reference and a new cultural and tourist resource for the city,” confirmed the mayor, Maria del Mar Vazquez. The museum covers more than 900 square prove the quality of life of the neighbours and visitors to the area and that it will help relieve the traffic congestion especially when the population increases from 7,000 to 40,000 in the high season.
