AN awardwinning opera show is set to charm an audience in Almeria’s Maestro Padilla Auditorium with a one night only performance on Saturday, April 15. ‘The Opera Locos’ opera show promises an unforgettable evening of hearty laughs and incredible music.
This musical theatre production has been created by Yllana, the winner of the ‘Best Musical Show’ at the Max Awards in 2019, and will feature a peculiar troupe of five eccentric opera singers who will perform a repertoire of songs by the greatest composers of the genre, fused with other musical styles.

Throughout the performance, the hidden passions and desires of each character will be revealed, leading to unpredictable and hilarious consequences. Yllana, a company known for their creativity and sense of comedy, has created a unique and innovative way to experience opera, making it accessible and entertaining for audiences of all ages.
Founded in 1991, Yllana has produced 37 theatrical shows that have been performed over 16,000 times in 48 countries, and have been seen by audiences numbering nearly six million.

YEEHAW! The Almeria Western Film Festival ( AWFF ) is coming back to town in October and is ready to round up the best in western and neowestern cinema!

Organisers announced that filmmakers are invited to submit their films for the festival on Wednesday, March 29.
From Wednesday, October 11, the AWFF will see western film buffs head to the ultimate cowboy movie sets at Western Leone, Fort Bravo and Mini Hollywood as Tabernas and the surrounding areas are transformed into a western wonderland.

Whether you’re a seasoned director, or a student ready to show off your skills, the AWFF wants to see your skills. This is your chance to ride into the sunset and showcase your film on the
