Multi-million makeover

MARBELLA is set to receive a massive natural makeover with the construction of the new Parque del Mediterráneo in El Pinillo. The project, which boasts a whopping 50,000 square metres of space and an incredible investment of €2.4 million, got underway on Monday, April 3 and is already being hailed as one of the biggest natural spaces in the municipality.

Staff costs, which accounted for 110 per cent of municipal income in 2011, now stand at 41 per cent.

Estepona Town Hall has been implementing an energy efficiency plan over the years, with the replacement of all public lighting with LED lights and their implementation in public buildings, which has led to a reduction of more than 30 per cent in the city’s energy consumption.
