Cheap rentals
THE Murcia City Council plans to build 467 new apartments that are part of the programme ‘to support the construction of rental housing in energyefficient buildings.’ A grant of €45.2 million has been agreed upon for this project promoted by Mayor José Antonio Serrano. The money will be provided by public and private funds. The objective is to provide new reasonably priced housing with monthly rent ranging from €386.19 to €533.96 depending on the building.
The towns where they plan to build are Cabezo de Torres, El Puntal, Churra, Santiago y Zaraiche, San Basilio, Beniaján, Ronda Sur, Santo Angel, and La Alberca.
