Never forgotten
THE Hillsborough disaster will never be forgotten, as Liverpool players and staff remembered the 97 supporters who lost their lives that day. Saturday, April 15, was exactly 34 years to the day when the tragedy took place during the FA Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest. And on Saturday the whole of Liverpool FC held a minute’s silence in respectful memory of the children, women and men who died as a result of the events that happened that day in Hillsborough, as reported by Liverpoolfc.com.
